Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous camp site in an amazing area of Il' Doleron. If you like cycling on cycle paths, then this camp site is well situated to explore the Northern part of the Island.
The camp site has very large shaded pitches, the toilet block is immaculate and the hot water for showering is free flowing with no nasty time limiting push buttons.
There are great games areas, climbing frames, running track, basket ball nets and tennis courts. There are 2 swimming pools, one small one for quiet swimming and relaxing one adventure pool with slides etc. Both pools were unattended in the quiet week of our stay but well life guarded on the busier week. We were the best not English on site but we were given a warm welcome and the team were very helpful. English is spoken by most of the people working there. We have found a hidden gem and will definitely go back.

We stayed 2 weeks in this family campsite.
As soon as we arrived, we were received with a nice friendliness.
The welcome is warm and professional.
Our mobile home was in perfect condition with very appreciated attention marks.
A superb swimming pool in peace guarantees a moment of relaxation surrounded by beautiful plants.
A magnificent water park, with beautiful palm trees, oleanders,...allows everyone to find a space for young and old.
It is worth highlighting the impeccable cleanliness of all outdoor spaces, down to the smallest detail like the flowers that embellish this beautiful environment.
This family, owner of the premises, with the help of its collaborators brilliantly maintain the green spaces,
We will return without hesitation, and thank you again for this family and warm welcome.

We discovered the campsite Verébleu in 2015 and have since been delighted to stay there during our caravan holiday on the island of Oléron. It is a campsite with a part reserved for campers with impeccable sanitation, separations on each pitch and dense vegetation. The pools are beautiful and very clean , the staff very friendly and the managers always available! Recommended!

Apart from a very nice swimming pool, the entertainment is very low-end, campsite for whisperers without noise without life much too expensive for what it is.. clean sanitary facilities but closed at night

In short, prefer the campsite opposite, which is much more dynamic

Does not deserve 5 stars

We spent two weeks at the Verébleu campsite. it is a very good campsite: Clean and well equipped mobile home with green space and terrace even if some are without air conditioning. A quiet swimming pool located in the middle of the campsite and a large aquatic area with water games, slide, etc... The big plus: Friendly staff and attentive team, Games and Things to do in the campsite (archery, boules, mini golf, night pool, show....), Things to do and outdoor visits offered by the campsite with privileged rates, well located in relation to the different Things to do or outings, a grocery store that has the merit of convenience store and a catering service with a varied menu (no restaurant).
Some areas for improvement: Impractical car pitch (plant that hinders the passage reducing the pitch for our car), the Jo H24 on the screen at the bar platform (it's too much for us), the play area on the side of the pétanque court not very suitable for little ones (noted from 3 but rather adapted from 4 years). Overall I recommend this campsite.

We had a very good stay at the vérébleu campsite in St George. The park is magnificent (palm trees, laurels, hedges) very clean and very well maintained. The pitches are large since each bungalow has a small garden area with trees and very nice deckchairs. The aquatic area is very beautiful (kindergarten, a large
Slide and the famous boyar fort!). The team is really very nice. All services on site (grocery store, entertainment, evening concerts, etc.). No restaurant but takeaway meals every day. A family campsite run by this family for over 30 years, very professional. Well done and thank you!

Another great vacation for the 5 of us! This is the third year and we find the campsite so exceptional that we no longer want to go to another region. We found the perfect place so we would inevitably be disappointed. The pitches, the bungalows, the swimming pool, the calm, the activities, the safety for our children because the parking lot is monitored. We will come back again and again. The only thing to say and it's such a trivial detail is a citrus press in the bungalows would be great. Maybe one day a real restaurant on the campsite, we would love that too. Even if the takeaway meals are great.

2 weeks with family in this campsite. I had read the comments on the rules a little too present, it is actually an asset and if the rules disturb it is that we do not like to respect them. Just common sense.....
Flowered campsite , very clean and maintained with care
Recent and impeccable accommodation.
Shaded and spacious pitches very few opposite anyway for ours because at the end of the driveway.

The pool is also very clean. Very bie supervised by very attentive and very pleasant staff.
The staff in general is very pleasant.
Entertainment for everyone every day pretty much all day.
Night pool top.
Thank you we'll be back.

Beautiful landscaped and flowery campsite.
The bathrooms are very clean and well equipped.
The pool is great, the staff is very friendly.
The animations are a little disappointing considering the campsite, too much magic, and the animations for teenagers are not suitable.
Everything else was fine.

This is a well-equipped site with good facilities and a good pool complex but we really did not enjoy our stay here. Forced shower on entry to pool area, even if you just wanted to sunbathe and read. Speedos rule strictly enforced (teenage boys not happy!). Lifeguards sat texting rather than watching swimmers. All entertainment and kids activities in French, which we are used to, having travelled extensively in France. However, even as a fluent French speaker myself I felt distinctly unwelcome. The inspection of the chalet at the end of our stay was very unfriendly and despite having cleaned thoroughly, the lady seemed to delight in finding a bit I had missed and required me to go over it in front of her. The reviews from the French are very positive on here and I can understand why but as a Brit I would definitely not recommend. Also the bar was very expensive.
