This is a stunning hotel in a small village near Sancerre. Rooms have been recently decorated and our one was very spacious, with a large separate bathroom. The room also had teaa/coffee making faciltites and a fridge. We could not have been made more welcome by the staff. A great location to explore this part of France, and the restaurnat...

We spent a night here during a visit to the Loire. The hotel is clean. The rooms are modern and comfortable. We stayed in the room with two double beds. We were a bit bemused by the fact we had to pay our bill before going to bed despite saying we weren't leaving until check out time the next day....

The hotel is located right in the centre of the village and has a small terrace at the front for drinks. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and wifi is free and works well. The bistro inside the hotel is convenient, but we found the food to be a little disapointing. There is a gourmet restaurant next door but this...

Excellent spot in the heart of Sancerre - we enjoyed the modern, spacious room and the professional staff. The rooms are quiet, well-designed, and have nice amenities. Highly recommended while traveling through the Sancerre region!

The room was well equipped with all of the comforts of home. Spacious bathroom and shower with pebbled floor. Bed was comfy and warm and the service you receive is to be remembered. Would stay here again! Keep up the great work folks, as your charm is world class.

Stayed here for one night on our travels back from Spain. It was a cold dry night in November but very few people around as clearly out of season. No other restaurants/bars open in Chavignol that night so we ate in the restaurant after a few drinks in the bar tasting the wine maker of the week recommendations given by...

I love this place. The whole area is beautiful and relaxed. The people are great and Sancere is very close by. Walks through the vineyards and through Sancere's narrow laneways. This hotel is perfectly placed. Very comfortable with large beds, a great restaurant and a high quality bistro. Free public parking is an easy walk from the hotel and there's...

A splendid setting for this hotel in the middle of the Sancerre vineyards. The hotel was "fine" but for the price I expected more. For example WiFi that worked without having to stand by the door to the bedroom, a breakfast with a little more choice given the price... Small things perhaps, but they did add up. The hotel has...

We stayed here originally thinking we would be in Sancerre itself, not realising we were 2km out of Sancerre. Anyway there was a huge amount of road works going on around Chavignol and the hotel itself, which was quite off-putting, particularly as the roads were quite narrow anyway. There was parking which was close by, but we still had to...

Nice large quiet room (Porcelain room) amazingly friendly and helpful staff,in the centre of the small village of Chavignon, about a mile from Sancerre. The great thing about this hotel is that you are surrounded by wine tasting "caves" and even a cheese tasting cave, all in the little village, highly recommend the "Henri Borgoise" wine tasting cave,50 metres up the road from the...
