We found the location to be quite good - quiet enough as in Cesson-Sevigné and next to shops/bakery and contrary to other reviews there are places to eat nearby. Okay so fast food outlets are next door but a short 7 minute walk and you'll arrive at the Hublais (I recommend the gallettes and cider!) and another 8 minutes or so and you'll be in the main area with a number of restaurants so this was fine. Being an Ibis it's basic but comfortable. We didn't bother with breakfast so can't comment. Bed was fine, room size fairly good and price was lower than expected. I always bring a car and having the parking included helped as well. You can walk to Rennes centre, but it takes almost an hour. There are plenty of buses as well (we wanted the exercise). The roads are quite easy to navigate around the hotel and it's much easier than Rennes centre. So we'll definitely use this hotel in future for our trips to see relations in the surrounding area.

This is a good hotel for an overnight stay. It was a secure underground car park. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. There was a restaurant next door which was closed and looked like it had been for some time. The only alternatives within walking distance is either a KFC or a MacDonalds. Not good enough that alone marks the hotel down.

We booked this hotel for a party of four. Each of us was very happy with the modern, spacious, clean and well equipped rooms. We all slept very well, nice beds with firm mattresses and quiet surroundings. Breakfast buffet with ample choice. Personnel was helpful, friendly and spoke English. One room on the floor was refurbished, but this did not disturb us.

The accommodation was adequate but tired. However, in fairness, the rooms are being repainted. The quality of the food was poor - we'd have been better off going to the Macdonalds opposite. Not what you should expect from a French hotel. The location is all right if you have a car. Otherwise, you need to rely on public transport to the centre of Rennes.

A modern, clean hotel which you would expect from the Accor Hotels group. Staff were extremely pleasant and spoke good English which was a bonus! Our room was on the small side, but nevertheless clean and comfortable. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that's not the French custom. Plenty of free parking, but the hotel is 6km from the city center, so if you're thinking of visiting the old town, it's a 1 hour walk or 20 minute drive. There's a KFC immediately next door which we would not recommend!
