13.8.2015 This time I was staying in room 401 which is one of two rooms on the groud level. It was quite dirty, smelling (especially bathroom) and claustrophobic. On the second day of our stay the heater fell of the wall obviously because of rust on handles and damp wall. It was during our absence. Instead of apology ( it...

Arrived here late afternoon. Reception is around the back/side of hotel. We had requested a sea view, but our request was not satisfied.....hotel was busy, but I did have to wonder if that was because we booked through Booking.com!, Anyway. The hotel is centrally located. Modern and clean. Reception staff were very friendly and spoke really good English. We didn't...

Centrally located in the harbor, right in front of the mulberrys that are still left in the water from WWII. The hotel has a great restaurant which overlooks these mulberrys. The hotel rooms are spacious and some have views on the water (we only had a partial view in ours). They are quite modern and very clean. One note though...

First time in Arromanches. The Marine is the place to stay. Great views from the simple but comfortable room. Terrific restaurant which obviously specialises in fish, and the standard of what was on offer was quite superb. Breakfast a bit ordinary, but generally, a really good stay

The hotel is on Gold beach. When you open the windows of your room you hear the waves and there are many shops and cafes right next...

We had a beautiful ocean view from our room. Was lovely to see sun rise and sunset. The hotel restaurant served a delicious dinner and breakfast. The hotel is walking distance from the museum and close to the main street where one can find shopping and restaurants.

Our room overlooked the beach and it was so relaxing to listen to the waves and watch the sunset. The rooms were clean and the food was quite good. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Arromanches is a very charming town. From the hotel we visited Longue Sur Mer, the American Cemetery, Pont du Hoc, and St. Mere Eglise all...

Sat outside watching the tide come in and decided to stay on for dinner. Stunning view over the beech. Our waiter looked after us well with a perfect table by the window to continue our view. Meal was beautiful. We didn't bother with a starter and glad we didn't the bread and olives that were brought were enough to start...
