A real find and what excellent hosts. The room was ideal, clean, comfortable and quiet. Adrian and Karen provide a real balance of a great welcome and a quality product. First class food served hot and well cooked. I can recommend breakfast a real good start to the day. Ask Adrian to avail you of the current French political climate....

we were two couples doing WW1 battlefield tour. We stayed over one night here on a quick tour of the D-Day area before heading back to Paris airport. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we were in the area. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Adrian and Karen are sweet hosts....

Thank you so much for your kind review. Really pleased you managed to get so much done during your trip - a good effort combining the moving Vimy Centenary commemorations with a run round the D-Day Beaches. Great having you here - small world indeed. Very best regards to you all, and hope we'll see you across again before too...

Stayed here many times with Adrian and Karen, great friends and great hospitality. Each room has its own unique character full of books on the rooms theme and bits of bric-a-brac. There are also many many books to read in the dining room. Which reminds me I still have Adrian's Canadian Artillery book....

Stayed here for three nights. Excellent place and great location. Plenty of free parking in their secure courtyard. Room was big and comfortable. Bathroom was good size and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. The best part are the owners who are very friendly, very helpful and enjoyable to be with. I will be back.

As a group of motorcyclists we've stayed here many times and it never disappoints, the best breakfast you can wish for, secure parking undercover for the bikes and a well stocked guest fridge, perfect.

Was touring around northern Europe with my friend on our bikes for 2 weeks. Normandy beaches BnB was by far the nicest place we stayed. I think we had the "small room" room which was plenty big, very clean and very beautifully decorated. It was ideal for bikers with covered parking and loads of room in the yard. We even...

We stayed here for two nights last week. We were given a great welcome by Karen and Adrian. The rooms were lovely, each with en-suite facilities. The breakfast was comprehensive, with the options of self-service continental and full "English" with all the trimmings, freshly cooked to order. There is ample parking in a fully-enclosed courtyard which is secured at night. (No...

If you want a typical hotel experience this is not your place. If you want more in depth interactions with fellow travelers then this is the place. Adrian has 5 rooms and treats you like family. There is a courtyard for parking which also contains a large picnic table next to a refrigerator stocked with beer, cider, and sometimes wine....

Thanks so much for your detailed and and very kind review. it was a real pleasure having you guys with us for a few days. Hope we'll see you next year for a trip to September's Goodwood Revival - Trip Advisor won't let me give you the link to watch the racing - they seem to think its some sort...

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very well looked after by Adrian. We were in the Biggles room, up some steps over the barn. Good, clean room with comfy bed and Biggles themed decoration. Ok it's not top of the range luxury, but you get everything you need - including free beer, wine and juice in the guest...

Good morning Dizzi, and thanks for your lovely review. As you quite rightly say, we aren't aiming for top of the range luxury, which is important for people to know - a 5 star rating doesn't necessarily mean 5 star Luxury on Trip Advisor, its more a question of doing what you do, well. We try to act as a...
