A nice campsite right in the middle of Arromanches and ideal for visiting the invasion beaches. Site is well maintained and the staff really helpful. Not expensive either. Recommend without reserve. Toilets and shower blocks well kept and spotlessly clean - thank you.

clean and well presented campsite which cannot be faulted BUT the same old problem as in many other campsites I believe, the customer has to show his licence for his up to date address then pay the reasonably priced 18 Euros 50, then the 50 Euros deposit for the automatic barrier swipe card ( as the barrier is in operation... This is the municipal campsite of Arromanches, It is a 5 minute walk to the centre, with restaurants, bars, a boulangerie for your bread and croissants in the morning and the beach and sea. Pitches with and without electricity, and clean toilet blocks with hot running water. Caters for tents, caravans and camping cars. Reception staff speak English and are... More

We love this little area. So much so that in recent years we always end up coming back. The campsite is perfectly placed and perfectly presented. The staff are super helpful and very approachable. The area is emotional, historic, overwhelming, friendly, informative, beautiful, welcoming - with so much to do, from the obvious historical to horse riding along the beach.... More

We have stayed at this site for the past 4 years now and if you are interested in the history of D Day and beyond then Arromanches and this site are as good as place as any in the area for campers looking for a convenient base. The site itself is situated within the pretty seaside town of Arromanches les... More

With just a short walk to the beach and shops this campsite is ideally situated. A great base to explore the area! Facilities are good and clean. We went for Dday as a group and booked our pitches, was a bit noisy at times but that's the because it's central!

Only stayed here for 2 nights to enable us to explore gold beach and Arromanches. Fab little site, great facilities and close to town. Pitches are good size but do tend to be uneven so don't forget your ramps. Warden very helpful, not sure how much English he speaks but he did understand my attempt at French so all good.... More

Set in the valley, quite near the town centre with its various bars and restaurants. The municipal site has neat demarcated pitches, acceptably clean facilities and pay to use WiFi which was unfortunately rather weak when I stayed there. High vehicles would need to be careful when entering the site through the archway. It is however a good central location... More

Located in the small town of Arromanches-Les-Bains, this two star campsite is a bit of a find. Inexpensive, clean, good sized plots, the campsite is a great place for exploring the eastern D-day sites. The local shop and a boulangerie are about 4 minutes from the campsite with the boulangerie van delivering fresh bread each morning at around 8:15am. Note... More

Ideal site, spotless toilets, showers and washing area kept that way by hard working staff. Never experienced any shortage of hot water or toilet paper!. Large level spaces with border hedges. Clean rubbish area with plenty bins. Good reasonable WiFi The site really is only 5 minutes walk from Arromanches and 2 minutes from the nearest shop. We stayed here... More
