Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. It's about what you would expect from a roadside motel -- it's not much, but if all you need is a place to sleep for the night, it gets the job done. The room was clean, and it's a small, locally-owned business (which to me is a plus). As others have mentioned, there...

Was passing through on our way to luray for the caverns and other things to do in this area when after 6 hours of driving we were tired. Came here and it was very nice. Nice staff and nice rooms with the best price we could find in town. couldn't of asked for any thing better. Plus a great view...

I'm a traveling musician and needed a break from campsites. This place exceeded my expectations. Was exactly what we needed. Can't beat the price. And the view from the rooms of the Appalachian mountains is fantastic as well. Hope to stay here again next time I pass through.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while exploring Skyline Drive in October and it was wonderful. We crept up late on a Thursday to this little inn and immediately loved it. We had made a reservation for two nights and extended it to three after exploring the first day in Shenandoah National Park. Lovely ladies working, clean rooms, comfy bed,...

Where else will $39 buy you a clean, tidy room with a king bed, closet, recliner, TV, microwave, mini fridge, and a little black bear walking across the wall beneath a field of stenciled green leaves and berries. Ok, the roommate be a tad small, and the A/C may make funny noises, but the place is conveniently located just off...

I've stayed here MANY times and have written several nice online reviews. This time I found the door lock to my room balky and the mini fridge encased in ice. No big deal, really. But since I wanted a working fridge and a door lock which was easy to open, I politely asked the owner for another room and although...

Run by sisters from England, this is a cute, cozy place. Though we got into town at a late hour we were able to be accommodated with a clean, comfortable room. After our phone call to find out if there was an available room, the owner/operator stayed up past her bedtime to receive us.

It's the simplicity I love! No frills. Clean room, safe area. Host is wonderful, always cordial and friendly. Yes, there are cats around the property as others have mentioned. So .... They are friendly and they haven't stolen anything that I've noticed, so not a big deal! I enjoy their company while sitting outside listening to the crickets. CLEAN ROOM....

My husband and I; along with another couple took a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains in October. While there we stayed in New Market, VA at the Blue Ridge Inn. Definitely not your 4 star rating motel but very clean, quaint and very affordable. Family owned and operated. Friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.

Stayed 1 night at Blue Ridge Inn while playing Bryce Golf Resort. Very pleasantly surprised at low rate, spacious and comfy room and warm, friendly manager who recommended several local restaurants and was very helpful. Oh, did I mention a great location about a mile from Rt. 81 exit. If you like local flavor & hospitality over big chain hotels...
