Spend 3 days at Weismayer and have mixed impressions. The interior is bit dated and decorated way below potential, though it has its charme. Liked most the swimming pool, unfortunately you can visit the sauna only from 3pm onwards, which makes it impossible to spend a full day in the spa area only. There is also a small fitness area...

The hotel itself is not so bad... ...centrally located, old historical building, nice views to the town and mountains, good rooms, good food, friendly and polite staff (only!) in the restaurant, nice spa... ...BUT...(!): All the hotel is full of deer antlers on the walls...but they invite you to a trip to feed the (still living!) deer in the wild...

Visited Weismayr together with my family for a week of skiing in the Gastein Valley. The building is a fantastic old majestic hotel from the early 19th century. If walls could speak! It is situated in the centre of Bad Gastein within walking distance from the Stubnerkogel bahn, although its very much uphill. The interior of the lobby is not...

We were at the Weismayr with my wife and two kids. It's a really nice hotel with a charming old world feel. The food is very boring however - despite nice and very friendly waiters - but the main problem is the two women in the reception who were singularly unfriendly and unpleasant. From the moment we came when it...

First of all we were impressed by the warm welcome in this characteristic and charming " old world" Hotel. Petra and her team were more than helpful and family Tscherne were great hosts with loads of tips concerning of what Bad Gastein and the Hotel Weismayr had to offer.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel this summer for a few nights. I was there before for a skiing holiday and it was my first trip there in summer. The hotel was much calmer than in the winter period. But as the last time the hotel was very nice. The staff is always helpful and friendly, the rooms...

Stayed for five nights at this hotel and loved it. Large rooms with high ceilings and traditional furnishings. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Views all around are great and there is a very high waterfall close by with a zip wire over the gorge. The swimming pool is superb at the hotel with a...

Pretty old and some bad solutions in the rooms - like the shower in the bathtub for example with no curtains. But these small things doesent matter. The prize is one of the ceapest in...

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week with 4 friends for a week long ski trip. We really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms were a good size with a nice comfortable bed, clean bathroom and plenty of closet space. Although as others have commented, it is a little dated, it was overall very clean (rooms were serviced...
