I almost want to keep this place a secret, but to do so would be unfair on the fantastic team at Haus Hirt. We have just returned from a 5 night stay and I have to say it ranks as one of the best places we have ever stayed. this is less of a hotel and more of a home,...

We loved Haus Hirt what an incredible experience. The facilities are fantastic for a small hotel with indoor pool, day spa, bar, library, yoga, drying room everything you need. The food is mostly bio they also use local produce it was just wonderful and can't wait to stay again.

We’ve all recommended hotels where we’ve stayed and had the time of our lives; but sometimes things go wrong – and the way a hotel responds to that can make it amongst the sincerest recommendations of all. We arrived in Haus Hirt on the 16th of January. The mountains, with their fresh crustings of snow, the alpine lodges, everything about...

The name 'Haus Hirt' is giving it away. It feels more like a home then a hotel or maybe the home you wished you had. It's nicely designed but even more important are countless personal touches throughout; apply free sun screen at the reception desk before you had out to the hotel shuttle which brings you to the ski lift,...

Spent a week at Haus Hirt and loved every minute. Great service, great food and great energy all around. Enjoyed the spa, the live music at the bar and I went on couple guided-hikes. Evelyn and all the staff make you feel at home, really.

A completely unexpected experience. I had never heard of this hotel before, nor had I ever visited Bad Gastein. Not a particular friend of valleys, I was surprised how open the space felt and how comfortable I was the entire time. The service is heartfelt and personal, it is a small place that feels like someone's home where I was...

Hi Jen, So lovely to read that you had a such a pleasant experience with us here! The Gastein Valley truly is a magical place and we are so happy you made it here. We arrived from Norway early lunchtime and was greeted with a friendly receptionist with proseco. The rooms where very nice, tidy and clean. Skipasses we ordered in the reception, and got good advice on where to rent skies. The next morning we had an early and very good breakfast, before the very friendly minibus driver got us to the slopes...

When I was a kid, we'd take annual mid-winter break skiing trips to southern Vermont. We'd stay in a sprawling Vermont country inn filled with families. We'd ski all day, play pool and ping pong at night, and run from the sauna out into the deep snow. Many of my best childhood memories are tied to the Bromley House in...

This hotel is special in many kinds of ways. From the interior (old house, new design elements) you would think you are in a design hotel, yet feel as comfortable as if it is your own living room. From the number of children running around, you would think this is mainly a family hotel. Apparently, even though it is (with...
