Hotel Granada is in many ways a treat. At least its main areas. The hotel is an ex convent and you really feel and sense this when walking through the main areas of the hotel. These areas could be those of a 4-5 star hotel. I encourage you to have close look at doors and walls etc - I loved... More

This is one of the classic hotels in Granada on the Main Street, La Calzada. Just a skip from Lake Nicaragua at the end of the road. What a unique property with the largest swimming pool in the city. We had the opportunity to enjoy the sparkling, clean pool which is a combo of salt/chlorine. It is maintained to the... More

This is a beautiful hotel with the largest and nicest pool in Granada, although the pool water was warmer than water in the rooms! The front desk and pool waiters were polite, but not very friendly. Rooms were very nice and clean, but the second floor A/C units could not keep up with the hot, hot days during Granada's DRY... More

Our large group stayed here, and they were very accommodating. Hotel felt very safe. Our room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was a bit spotty but pretty good. Breakfast was very good. Service was great from all staff we encountered. Would stay again.

Unlike so many really old hotels this one is fully up-to-date, clean although the rooms are not well lit, and just close enough to restaurants but away from the noise. The pool is huge and a nice place for a glass of wine after a busy day touring. The wi-fi was fast and worked in the room. Breakfast was hot... More

I stayed at Hotel Granada in January 2016 with a large group. I had no expectations that this would be a lovely hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a family suite that had two large clean comfortable beds. The bathroom was large with a soaking tub. It too was very clean. There was a dining/game area and... More

I’ve just returned from a 9-night stay at Hotel Granada for a workshop. THE GOOD: * Great location – a few blocks from the park and a few blocks to the lake. Very walkable to everywhere * Nice installations, especially the meeting rooms and the pool area * Very attentive to our group during the workshop – assigned staff person... More

The pool here at Hotel Granada, set at the far end of the Calzada, is open for day use at US$10 per person. The fee is a little high, but if you're spending a couple of days in the humidity, it will be a pleasant relief of dip in a pool. However it was disappointing to see what appeared to... More

The pool---finally a hotel pool big enough to actually swim laps---Olympic size at that-- with beautiful landscaping as well. The rooms were large with large bathrooms and nice tiles and there were actually shampoo and lotion. That seems to be a rarity down here. The breakfast was large and excellent. Thought I might rate it just a 4 becuause it... More
