Our family stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Plaza Colon. We enjoyed everything about the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is simply unbeatable--directly across from the main plaza and cathedral. I would recommend the rooms with balconies at the front of the hotel, which have great views. We were also very happy with the wonderful staff....

It was a 2 night stop in during our honeymoon and the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. Everyone helped us with places to go, directed us with maps, etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

This place is a simply divine and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I requested a room on the 2nd floor that was quiet and we got one at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool. The room was completely quiet, peaceful, and wonderfully clean! The room had a safe, A.C., a spotless/updated bathroom, and incredibly comfy...

The hotel is situated , as the name implies, over looking the Plaza de Colon. A perfect location to tour this lovely and historic city. The hotel has a coffee shop and a bar adjacent to it. The staff if friendly and accommodating. What made it special was having a room with a porch overlooking the Plaza. Great people watching...

Our family stayed here for three nights in December 2014, and we were very impressed with the hotel. Each staff person we met was very friendly and helpful, especially Victor and Nelson. The breakfast was fantastic and appealed to grown up as well as kid tastes (our 7 and 12 year old each loved the fresh juices and made to...

Fabulous hotel right on the Parque Central. Room was huge and very comfortable for a family of four adults. We had a lovely room with a large balcony overlooking the Parque hence, it was a bit loud, however, once the two sets of doors from the balcony to the room were closed, the noise was eliminated. The balcony is a...

Of the 3 hotels we stayed at in Nicaragua, this was our favorite. The service was great, friendly and helpful. The location is very central, right in the middle of the square... cannot get much better. It was a bit noisy, but not too late into the night that it was an issue. One complaint was that the staff started...

Dear Jade, Thank you for your comments about your recent stay with us. I am very sorry our Front Desk Staff woke you up every morning, that is unacceptable! I have already held a meeting with them and explained why they should always keep in mind the volume of their voices, especially during the morning and late evening. I wish...
