Of all the hotels we visited throughout our 2 week stay, Plaza Colon was our favorite. We arrived a little too early for check in but staff was nice enough to hold on to our bags and let us stay at the pool. We loved that there was a cafe at the hotel. Iced coffee and frozen lemonades were perfect!... More

Rooms are good size and well kept Breakfast is complete but people makes a big diference as they are so professional and helpful. Location is perfect! The kids really enjoy the pool. Plus they have a cafe next door with reasonable prices and good latte.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. From the moment we pulled up the staff was welcoming and very quick about their duties. The facilities are clean. The room is really nice and the location is superb. You are right in the heart of Granada, near it's Parque Central and across from the glorious Cathedral. The main strip with... More

I spent 5 days based at the hotel during a visit to Nicaragua in which I was meeting and interviewing some volunteers for a non-profit I'm involved with. The beautiful quiet garden area with tables and chairs around the pool became my temporary "office." The hotel is so gorgeous that I had to keep explaining that I was on a... More

What a fabulous experience! This was certainly contending for the best hotel experiences we have had. I can't even begin to explain how accommodating the staff was. By the second night many new us and the kids by name. The pool was perfect and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms immaculate and comfortable. The lobby's are semi open... More

Located on the plaza the outside is buzzing. You enter the hotel and hear flowing water. The balcony room was spacious overlooking the action. Close the doors and it is quiet.wort the extra 20 dollars. Breakfast is grand and hot showers that are really hot add to a great resort. Would come back and send friends to

Hotel Plaza Colon is in a good location in Granada. You can walk just about everywhere from the hotel. The hotel is well appointed and had good breakfast. This hotel is great! The room was nice & clean, comfortable beds, hot water with great pressure, strong AC, and a very nice clean pool.
