We loved this hotel. The rooms are basic, comfortable, clean. The garden and balconies are lovely and a great place to sit. The concierge was amazingly helpful and friendly and fun. We all loved it here. 2 adults, 2 kids ages 11 and 13.

When we stayed at the Patio del Malinche they did not serve a breakfast buffet, but instead offered choice between different options, e.g. yogurt with granola and fruits or a great (giant!) fruit platter. We really liked it... More

It's not a buffet. You get to choose from two or three options. One is a typical Nicaraguan breakfast. All of the choices are good!

Anyone wondering about late check-out.... just talk to the staff at the hotel, they will accommodate you. They are great.
