My wife and I went to Nicaragua to visit my son who is in the Peace Corps. We had two rooms for four days and it was perfect. The rooms are very quiet because they are two blocks off the wild Main Street. The staff was most cordial (get Oel to make you a mojito or margarita). Breakfast was included...

this little hotel is about 2 blocks off the main square, but easy to locate as its right near the big (used to be blue) convent. they answer emails quickly, have good service, and also have a cute little pool right in the middle of the courtyard that's really clean and gets direct sunlight during the day. they also have...

Me and my two friends were traveling in Nicaragua for the first time. We were headed to surf but decided to stop off in Granada to check it out. We had no hotel so we began popping in to a number of hotels in the city but no of them felt right until I walked into Casa San Francisco. The...

We did not have reservations in Grenada, so my two buddies and I drove from hotel to hotel asking price and to actually see the rooms; when we stopped at Casa San Francisco, it was a no brainer for all 3 of us..wonderful little botique hotel in a great location in the city..everyone we met there was very friendly, and...

My best friend and I were visiting family and decided to venture off to Granada where we came across Casa San Francisco. It's one of the smaller hotels which we loved. The place is super cute with a friendly staff that helped us with setting up some tours. We were two young girls traveling on our own but any nerves...

Just back from Nicaragua and stayed at CSF for the third time in as many trips. This time, four nights in comfortable downstairs rooms #2 and #7. CSF is tops in my book - good location, good food, good lodging and good people. Not too big, not to small. The staff here - Maria, Claudia and Helena are always most...

My parents stayed here 4 years ago and assured us of a wonderful stay. What can I say? Mom and Dad were right. Although we only had time for a one night stay we were welcomed as though we were moving in permanently. The staff went above and beyond for even the most basic request. Dinner was the best we...

Just home from a visa run to Granada and delighted to have chosen Casa San Francisco again. Terry and her team provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the highest professional approach. Maria at the front desk could not have been more helpful with providing answers to all our questions and making reservations for us. The location is ideal,...

Casa San Francisco is the unassuming hubbub of what's going on in Granada! My husband and I stayed there for 3 weeks while we worked with local artists who wanted to learn skills required for metal sculpture. When the staff discovered what we were up to, the hotel threw their support behind this project and opened the lobby for an...

This 9 room hotel with owner-chosen decor that is different in every room, excellent beds and visiting talking parrots, has great food. Their chef is a professional with international experience. Their reception and wait staff are very helpful. And the location beside El Convento de San Francisco and mere blocks from the main old downtown square, cannot be beaten. There...
