Beds were extremely comfortable. We made sure we closed the windows after the hotel staff cleaned because we were afraid of unwanted guests coming in; the signs posted stated that the hotel was not responsible for lost belongings. We laundered our clothes here for $4-5. Breakfast has an amazing selection of American and Nicaraguan choices -- cuajada gallo pinto to... More

Just returned to Casa San Fransisco! They have added new rooms, expanded the lobby and the restaurant! As usual the staff was attentive and friendly! The food is delicious! Couldn't ask for a better location! Beautiful atmosphere! The tropical gardens are such a delight. What a wonderful place to stay, I cannot wait to come back!

Nice hotel in a good quiet location just a few blocks from town center . Helpful staff . Clean simple room on first floor adjacent to 'pool' . Breakfast came with the room was good as well . I recommend the hotel and bar for a night or more than one night .

We stayed in room number 3, which was a big disappointment. Not sure if it is the worst room in the whole hotel, or if others are similar. The room itself was dark, with two windows so small to even allow any light to enter. The lack of windows made it hard to allow any ventilation in the room. Although... More

Dear Carina, Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to write about your experience. Room #3, the one you stayed at, is one of our standard rooms, the most economic ones. All our rooms have same facilites (private bathroom with hot water, AC, cable tv, safe deposit box...) but the difference in price depends on the size... More

We could not be happier. Stunning mix of colonial architecture and lush foliage. Swimming pool, hearty traditional breakfast, great coffee and all your hotel mod cons. Perfect start to the holiday in this charming city. Bravo!

Cozy hotel but I found the prices a little high. Certainly the restaurant and bar prices were too expensive. It has a pool which is very small but nice for relaxing if there are no other guests. It also has a nice rooftop terrace. The staff is nice and friendly and the included breakfast very good. Not s bad place... More

Dear John, Thank you for you review, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Ask for special deals during low season, and remember we always give a 5% cash discount. Bocadillos restaurant is a business apart, although located inside the hotel. We hope you may visit us again! More

We have lived in Nicaragua for 3+ years. If you are planning a visit to Granada, you should consider a stay at Casa San Francisco. Attentive staff, recently expanded and updated and remodeled rooms, lovely landscaping, quiet, great breakfasts. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

There's so many things great about this place! The staff, the beds, the ground, the tapas restaurant, breakfast…The Wi-Fi was a problem in many rooms; they tried to fix it but it was still problematic after my 9 day stay. I was in one of the new rooms. The sink in the bathroom had a odd configuration. Instead of having... More

I have been in hotels in Managua and Matagalpa for the last five years. I have never found a hotel in Nicaragua like Casa San Francisco where EVERY staff member is friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Our room was in the new addition and we were the first to stay in it. The... More
