Welcoming hostel with everything you would need as a backpacker. Secure lockable cabinets and CCTV to keep your mind at ease too! Receptionist was very helpful as we arrived at around 1 in the morning. Good food too 👍

We were 3 friends traveling and stayed at the Mombacho room! The atmosphere of a colonial house is just great as part of the experience to be in Granada! The room was very spacious, hight ceiling and colourful! The staff were friendly and breakfast amazing! Worth chill out in the round rattan chair! Thanks, Dami, Dika and Dib

The place is one block from the main square and two blocks from the main road. Dorm is clean and spacious with a special rack just for your luggage. The lockers in and outside the room are huge. The bath-rooms are clean and cleaned daily. You can buy food and drinks at the bar for a reasonable price. It does...

I used El Momento's shuttle service to pick me up from the airport in Managua, and the driver was right on time. When I arrived mid-morning, Zacharias at the desk was beyond helpful and even asked if I wanted to practice my Spanish with him (I was shy, but knew I needed to!) He showed me all around the hostel...

Good location. Facilities were good enough and seating area options were excellent. Staff were mixed with most being very friendly and helpful. Dorm was clean and bathroom good. Needed another fan in the door as very hot and guests were 'borrowing' each other's fans.

Thank you for making a review and nice comments, we do have 8 fans in the dorm and if we had another 8 it would not make a difference this year as Nicaragua is having extreme heat they have not had before. The only difference would be putting AC into the dorm but the price for dorm beds would be...

We absolutely loved our stay at el momento! It is centrally located, one block from the main cathedral. We loved our room and enjoyed cheap cocktails prepared in house and sat in the beautiful garden in the center of the hostel. Great wifi too!

This hostal has got to be one of my favourites on my journey through central america. Its set in an old building with huge dorm rooms and an amazing courtyard to hang out in. Lockers are provided and the beds in the dorms are large and comfy each with its own lamp. Showers are warm and the staff very accommodating....
