Stayed a few nights here with my girlfriend. There's a big sign at the front desk that says "pre-pay" so that's what we did when checking in for two nights. When we told them we wanted to stay a third they said we haven't paid for the first two nights. The guy who took our $ at the desk made...

Location is awesome, its super close to everything you'd ever need. Staff all seemed great. The swimming pool was small but clean. Our friends had to walk through the kitchen to get into their room which was a bit odd. Side note: The tours through the hotel are more expensive then if you were to find them on your own....

Theis hostel had an amazing staff. My girlfriend got sick during our stay and the owner, Diana, took us in her car to the health clinic where she helped translate everything for us (my broken Spanish would not have cut it). I could not believe how kind and generous this complete stranger was to us; she didn't owe us anything...

We booked for a private room with a shared bathroom but when we arrived they said that wasn't available so we accepted the upgrade to a private bathroom. There was some construction going on, so maybe that had something to do with it? Our room was nothing special, had a fan, an outlet, nice shelves, a table, no wifi, and...

decent hostel right by the parque central (Central Park with market stalls in the centre of town). the door is locked 24/7 so you just have to buzz to get in. felt safe in the hostel. the kitchen is decent to cook your own meals, and the rooms are very plain. bathroom in our room wasn't great so I just...

The good news: the location can't be beaten. It's one block away from Parque Central and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and bars on Calzada street. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful and very responsive. There's a bar, so you can hang out and have your Toña there at the hostel. The bad news: although my room...

Not a party hostel! Lovely staff and facilities, in an excellent location, but they're pretty tight on making sure nobody's sleep gets disturbed. There is a small 'Jacuzzi' in a patio area which gets the sun, with a bar and kitchen in the next courtyard. All very clean and we'll looked after. Very close to the cathedral and main square.
