We stayed here two nights after a recommendation from a friend. The rooms are clean and airy, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The hostel is just outside the tourist district, which allowed us to escape the noise and walk by families as they gathered on their stoops at sunset. Thank you to the owners and staff at...

My gf and I stayed at La Siesta for 3 nights in one of their private rooms with a bathroom. We loved the hostel. It has a lovely family feel - Boris and Marcella (owners) make a real effort to get to know the guests and help guests make the most of their visit to Granada. The room and bathroom...

Stayed two nights in the dorm which was very clean and only had 4 beds. The location is very central but quiet. Take a taxi after 11pm. Boris and his wife are lovely hosts and very welcoming and helpful. They are going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There was a power failure and maintenance needed to...

It's the place I go whenever I'm in Granada. They treat guests like family and always welcome you back. I've been staying there since December 2010 and though my trips have been spread out, they remember who I am and always accommodate, I have gone with groups of 2 up to groups of 9. Everyone goes away happy! To make...

I recently stayed at La Siesta for over two weeks and it was one of the greatest highlights of my trip! The amenities were ALMOST as great as the people. The workers & owners are fabulous, genuine, down-to-earth, people who are as helpful as they are friendly. It pained me to leave the place! It became my little happy place...

I stayed here with my girlfriend last week. The staff was very helpful and did everything to get us a good night of sleep. The hostel is clean and has a good atmosphere. We did not get the breakfast but I am sure it is good too. The hostel is only a couple of blocks from the central park, a...

My friend and I stayed in La siesta for our 2 nights in Granada and it was awesome. First of all the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is pretty convenient as you are 5 min walking distance from supermarkets and from town center. The amenities are very clean, you have a free wifi and you can...

I spent three nights at La Siesta Almendro for Semana Santa and found it an ideal location. Quiet, clean, and only a 7 minute walk to El Centro, museos, and a little further to Lago Nicaragua. Boris and his staff are more than helpful, they are generous with their time and knowledge of Granada in particular and Nicaragua in general....
