I stayed at Miss Margrit's with two girlfriends in January and it definitely lives up to its fantastic reviews - this place is perfect in every way. First, it is an absolutely charming building with spectacular views of the city, and in a super convenient location. The rooms are spacious and very very clean. Breakfast is amazing. Beautifully built and designed, Chris and mum! No one of our group of ladies wanted to leave and I think they're all planning to be back for extended stays! Lovely staff, stunning breakfasts, cool and calm respite from outside, comfortable beds, spacious verandas, great showers, awesome owner. Thanks again, Chris. You made our stay fantastic. I had the privilege of staying at Miss Magrits in September of 2013. From start to finish the experience was lovely. First of all, upon entering you walk in to a beautifully restored colonial home with gorgeous gardens and a fountain in the first courtyard. You keep walking and there is the kitchen, dining area, and a small but absolutely...

We absolutely loved our two-night stay at Miss Margrit's Guest House. As soon as you walk through the bright red/pink walls, you feel like you've been transported to another place and era. The hotel has six rooms and is constructed around two courtyards. The first has a beautiful fountain and lounge chairs; and the second has a pool and the...

Stayed at Miss Margrits for a few days and it felt like the owner, Chris and I had been friends for years! Chris and his glamorous girlfriend Rosa (an extremely cute couple) were extremely helpful and helped us to organise our trip around Nicaragua. Fantastic house, and great people!

My Boyfriend and I just returned from a weeks stay at Miss Margrit’s but I wish we were able to stay longer. Miss Margrits is absolutely gorgeous. With the calming water fall, hammocks and beautiful plants spread about, the guest house surrounds you with a sort of serenity that exhausted travelers crave. Our room was spacious and luxurious and we...

This place was great. We stayed here for 5 days. The location just down the road for all the major sites and restaurants. The staff and the facilities were the best we experienced during out entire trip in Nicaragua.
