As first-time visitors (and drivers) in Nicaragua, we wound our way more than a few times through Granada's narrow streets before we saw it -- Miss Margrit's -- in inch-high letters on the deep red wall beside the large wooden doors. We were relieved, but still held our breath until the doors opened into a beautiful garden with sky light,...

Chris and Nina were very helpful in giving us suggestions about where to eat and what to do. The room was quiet and spacious, beautiful bathroom and shower. Refreshing pool, awesome breakfast, quiet location in town yet walk to everything. We met some really nice fellow travelers at breakfast. Highly recommend Miss Margrits! We even met THE Miss Margrit who...

Wonderful and very well maintained guesthouse. A gorgeous pool which enables you to relax and feel miles away, but on your doorstep is the beautiful colonial city of Granada. The breakfast is fantastic. Miss. Margrits is the ideal place to base yourself whilst exploring Granada and the surrounding area.

I had such a wonderful time at Miss Margrit's! My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I so enjoyed the shower which allowed me to feel like I was outdoors with the sun shinning right down on me. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was a delight. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. From my lovely driver who...

One of the better experiences I have ever had. Chris (the owner) was awesome and it was the perfect place to get our trip started. They serve breakfast every morning and it's a great place to gather and meet new people. The pool is situated in the middle of the home and it's a great place to cool off after...

We arrived at Granada in mid April when the heat was unbelievable. Behind the big wall at the entrance we found a beautiful colonial house, everywhere we looked- it was carefully decorated with amazing taste. The maintenance was with high quality, with a balance of local and modern items. The air-condition in the room was a life saver :-) Cris...

We stayed at Miss Margrits over Christmas, and we absolutely loved it. It's so peaceful there, and the staff and the rooms were amazing. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our stay in Nicaragua, and i couldn't recommend this place enough. Secure rooms, hot water, good wifi and really helpful staff who organised trips and taxis...

We spent only one night. We wish we could have stayed longer! The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodated my family's needs better than most hotels we've visited. They arranged onsite massages, manicure & pedicure services, and helped arrange a premium table reservation at the best steakhouse in Granada. Their walking tour recommendations were spot on. Thanks for...
