The hotel, situated only a few blocks away from the city centre of Granada, is an oasis. The rooms are spacious and the mattresses in the beds are of good quality. The place is very calm and quiet at night. You can relax in a beautiful courtyard right a the cute swimming pool. The hosts Rob and Claudia are wonderful nice and friendly people. They have all the answers to the questions you ask and they know all about Granada and the area around. The breakfast prepared by Rob every morning was excellent and tasty. He also will store your cerveza in the kitxhen fridge to keep it cool for the night. Finally this was the best accommodation we had on our Nicaragua trip. Thank you very much for the awesome days in Granada. We hope the american tape rope walker did not fall into the volcano and Masaya is open again to the public !…
We love this great B&B...There Are just two rooms, very friendly helpful hosts. We loved the dipping pool, but, most of all, those fantastic breakfasts were a great start for the day! Very close to everything
Rob and Claudia are the best host ever. Friendly and down to earth. And I can’t stop bragging about them. Lovely place with nice and clean room. It has a pool for you to relax. Walking distance to all the attractions yet quiet at night. I have the best time in Granada with them. Highly recommended.
From the moment you contact Rob at Casa Silas you will realize what a great time you will have at staying, visiting and most importantly meeting Rob and Klaudinha Keddy. They are one of the nicest couple/host and now and forever FRIENDS we met in Granada. Rob is a wealth of knowledge regarding anything Granada and Nicaragua. He is a Canadian that moved to Nicaragua over 10 years ago, fell in love with the city and most importantly met his wonderful wife Klaudinha. Rob will instantly become a friend and for sure lives by the saying "mi casa es su casa" because the whole time we stayed here we felt at home. After we had checked out and were getting ready in heading on to our next location in Nicaragua our plans fell through and we had to unexpectedly stay in Granada for a couple of more days, we immediately went back to Casa Silas (like where else would we go after already staying here!!!) and were very fortunate that they could accommodate us to stay there longer. They made our unfortunate and sad situation a positive one. For that we will always be greatful! rooms are air conditioned and big. beds are comfy. Breakfasts are really good.…
When I was planning my sister's first visit to Granada I didn't consider staying anywhere but here. I knew that she would love the accommodation, the location and the hosts - which she did. Breakfast was a real treat. The first morning was a delicious Nicaraguan nacatamal which we hadn't found anywhere else and the second morning fresh baked quiche with some seasonal fruit. Thanks for making the last couple of days in Nicaragua so enjoyable.
