Look forward to getting back here couple times a year. Beautiful, peaceful getaway. Quaint inn with lovely decorated rooms. Innkeeper goes out of her way to make you feel at home. You can park your car when you get there and walk everywhere. Wonderful little shops and restaurants.

It is my favorite getaway, restful, beautiful scenery, and our host Betty is a gem! Look forward to coming back every year. You can walk everywhere and the quaint shops and eateries are great. Over the years I have had a chance to stay in all of the rooms but my favorite is the Jane Austen. Love the views and...

My Aunt and I had the pleasure of staying at the Arbogast Inn, and we enjoyed it very much. It is so quiet and peaceful. We loved the fresh mountain air through the windows, and the charming town. So nice to get away from the hustle of the city. It is almost like a trip back in time. The house...

We found ourselves without a place to stay while traveling Hwy 205. We checked Trip Advisor and trusted the reviews for Arbogast Inn. So glad we did. Betty had a room for us and was a very welcoming hostess. She was flexible on our late arrival time and selection of accommodations. We stayed in the Poe room. The beds were...

We stayed for 2 nights in the Jane Austen room. The room was lovely! We truly enjoyed it. I love older houses, and this one was very quaint. Although the bathroom was detached, it was private and we both loved the claw foot bath. The owner was so nice and really did what she could to make sure we felt...

We enjoyed our stay in the Charles Dickens room which was furnished in keeping with the period and had a large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was simple - cereal, fruit, muffins, which we much prefer to a large cooked breakfast. It was served at a time to suit us. We really enjoyed Betty's company during breakfast since it gave us an...

An older home which was decorated in that period. Very clean with a comfy bed in Dickens room. A very sweet hostess who was willing to serve breakfast when we wanted it, and who helped us with directions to our next destination . Only criticism was lack of the niceties which differentiate a B&B from a hotel. In most B&B'S,...

We apologize that our B&B did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, due to local laws, we cannot offer wine during your stay. Yes, we do not have mini fridges in our guests rooms. We like to keep our beverages cold and they are always available downstairs in our dining area. We take pleasure asking all guests if there is anything...

We spent two nights at the Arborgast while visiting the Allegheny Mountain Institute's Summer Open House. We chose the Dickens Room which was comfortable with a king-size bed. I don't believe the house was air-conditioned but the cool nights and the windows with screens kept our room comfortable. The Dickens room faces Main Street which did provide us with the...

The Arbogast Inn was a last minute find that turned into a treasure. The host met us at 9 am and gave us keys to front door and our room. Try getting into a chain hotel that early! We stayed in the Poe room with twin beds with plenty of seating. The overhead fan provided all the air we needed...
