We had a wonderful experience. Our suite was beautifully decorated. The queen bed was very comfortable with feather pillows. The sitting area had a comfortable couch and fireplace. Our package included 3 course breakfast both mornings. It was outstanding. We were treated to a cooking demonstration for our appetizer by Suzi. This was followed by a 4 course dinner with...

I have stayed in many B&Bs and Inns. By far this was the very best. The inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays, warm, inviting, festive...The staff were friendly and helpful. Our cottage showed great attention to detail - from the fireplace and two-person jacuzzi tub, to the uber-comfortable, king sized bed, with soft, fresh linens. We had a lovely...

This Inn appears very much as it name, meandering, except they forget the adjective outdated. At half the price maybe the price would be fair but at over $200 per night plus forced dinner at $50 per person guest should expect to receive much more. I needed two rooms, one was in the main very run down main house and...

Thank you for your comments. We strive to balance the historic essence of this 1776 house with the comfortable accoutrements of modern times. While the bathroom is not within the bedroom, it is en suite and this huge suite is extremely private, even with it's own private staircase. Always mindful of nature's presence in our rural location, we have monthly...

We just returned from an absolutely fabulous time at the Meander Plantation. The Inn is very charming, comfortable and the owners are extremely gracious and accommodating. This is an absolutely wonderful place for a get away from the maddening crowds of the city. All of the rooms are lovely and comfortable and the bed linens are lush! Our private dining...

The Innkeepers were so nice and made us feel so welcomed. The property was beautiful and they were starting their Holiday decorating, which was very charming. The food and the service were more than we expected. We had a party of eight, and all of us are considering a return. The Living Social was such a deal! Thanks for your...

Suzie and Suzanne are professional innkeepers, friendly, caring, accomodating in all aspects. The rooms are beautiful. The cooking class, by hubby, relucantly atended was great, he thoroughly enjoyed it. The dinner and wine paring was amazingly delicious!. Just the right amount...

We stayed at another B & B in the area but dined here. They were overbooked so they sat us in a small dark library at a covered metal patio table. We were not able to comfortably put our legs under the table which made the never ending 4 hour meal time VERY uncomfortable. The salads were delicious and my...

We went to Meander as part of the Living Social deal. Obviously, this "deal" was meant to drum up money for the inn. After our dinner last night, I can assure anyone reading this that none of the 40 people eating the dinner would recommend this place. The dinner took 4 hours. How hard is it to serve dinner, folks?...

This inn embodies the essence of the best in b and b's- great ambience, outstanding 5 star food, warmth, and genuine ,heartfelt hospitality! Suzie and Suzanne are outstanding hostesses. The inn is beautifuuly situated near Culpepper and Charlottesville- so much to see and do or nothing at all.

Meander has such possibilities. A lovely location, an interesting, historic house, and a wonderful kitchen. But the attention to detail is missing...both from the innkeepers themselves and the furnishings and upkeep of the house itself. It wouldn't take much to make it fabulous. Stilll, it's a nice getaway with an outstanding breakfast.
