Cluttered and in need of a serious dusting. I really liked the outdoors feel of the place with the chickens, ducks, and creek. The location is great for exploring the local wineries and breweries. But at $150 a night, it is seriously overpriced. We've stayed at many B&B's over the years and this was a first where I couldn't relax...

Our stay at this bed and breakfast was exactly what we needed! First of all, Barbara is a wonderful hostess. She makes you feel welcome and excited to stay in her beautiful home. Upon arrival she provided us with complimentary wine and a tour of the house- which was very interesting as this house was built in the 1700's. Barbara...

I took my girlfriend there for the weekend for her birthday. Pulled in and walked up to the house, Barbara saw us and told us to come on in. That is one talking little woman. I got worried that we would never get out of there. But she is just as nice and friendly as a person can be. I...

My wife and I stayed 5 nights. It was hard to leave. Barbara is your mam away from mam. Best breakfast ever: different everyday, everything fresh. She has a lovely home with all amenities. Beautiful surroundings, cute farm animals, lovely warm home. Aside that she is a great host and very helpful. Go there for your 5 star Virginia experience.

I would say this isn't your typical BnB. First, the owner is delightful! She is extremely knowledgeable as to the history in the area. Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to chat. The grounds are lovely and it's fun to see the animals. What is different than other BnBs that I have been to is that the...

Awesome B&B made more so by a wonderful hostess, who is a civil war and area historical expert/resource. Relaxing location away in a quiet historical setting, and the perfect location to explore and enjoy the area's wine country. Although this review indicates November 2013, it was actually September 2013 (Tripadvisor web site pop-up does not allow choosing a date prior...

My boyfriend and I biked from Washington, DC to Purcelville, VA and we spent Saturday night at Creek Crossing. It was even better than we expected! Barbara is an incredible character and an extremely generous host. Her stories are fantastic but her breakfast is even better! We had the most delicious biscuits and sausage with gravy and a lovely coffee...

I am sorry I am posting this long after our wonderful stay at Creek Crossing Farm. Our daughter was married this past May, we used to live in the area, and we needed a place for our entire family to stay together and the bridesmaids and bride get ready the day of the wedding. The owner, is wonderful, so helpful...

As a published writer I could not imagine a more perfect setting. Beautiful accommodations & excellent service. Barbara goes the extra mile to make your stay so comfortable. Her Breakfast of farm fresh delights plus an offering of afternoon tea was priceless. The Bedrooms are very comfortable and on one visit my youngest daughter joined Barbara to collect eggs! Close...

My husband and I and our three children (8,12 and 14) had a wonderful weekend at Creek Crossing Farm. Innkeeper Barbara Baroody opened her country home -now an inn -to us for two nights. Nothing like the 'country' found at a Cracker Barrel gift shop - our stay at Creek Crossing Farm proved to be a restful but also really...
