Stayed at this hotel with my husband recently and absolutely loved our time here. This place is perfect for couples and adults, don't think it would the best for little kids. It was our first time in this area, which seems pretty upscale and full of wineries. You can easily drive into Shenandoah National Park from here. We had stayed there just before, so went for a little walk on the Appalachian Trail portion that runs across the road just a few miles north of the inn. This is one of those luxury B&Bs that has all sorts of awesome little details. The refreshing pool is perfectly positioned with a beautiful mountain view. They bring you coffee/tea every morning to your room in case you don't want to get out of bed for breakfast. I don't even drink coffee anymore but just the idea of it was such a lovely touch. The included breakfast was multiple courses and extremely delicious. Next time I would eat dinner at the hotel as well. The restaurant we ate at down the road, The Blue Door, was very expensive and not very good (though don't miss the burgers and custard at Spelunkers in Front Royal). We stayed in the Huntly Suite, which is in a separate building up a small hill from the main house. It was very big and every aspect of the room was extremely comfortable. Loved the private outdoor seating as well. Would absolutely stay here again.

Property's Favourite Review
My husband and I stayed in the Fyvie room on Thanksgiving. It’s the perfect getaway from the city beautiful views, crisp fresh air, friendly staff and delicious meals at the Houndstooth Restaurant. I highly recommend Glen Gordon Manor. It is our second time visiting and won’t be our last.

My husband and I needed a quiet getaway and stayed at Glen Gordon Manor for the first time (over Monday and Tuesday night). We loved everything about the experience, and it was exactly what we needed. We stayed in the Edward suite and loved it. Spacious, charming and tastefully decorated with antiques and a gorgeous updated bathroom. We chose to have the Chef's dinner with wine pairings the second night and it was an exceptional meal. Every course was creative and flavorful, and every wine was a perfect match. We enjoyed breakfast in the room with the paper flower ceiling, while the gorgeous chickens outside put on a show. The staff were lovely- each person we spoke with was friendly and most accommodating. The Manor house is beautiful and I enjoyed the many gorgeous paintings peppered throughout - especially the hunting dog murals in the sitting room. Hope to return again soon.

My husband and I own a business so we rarely get away. Glen Gordon Manor was the perfect escape. Small touches, a wonderful massage and an incredible staff all made for a perfect getaway. We immediately recommended it to our friends.

My husband and I just spent two nights at Glen Gordon Manor, staying in the Wallis suite. We took advantage of the "Fall Romance" package. From the moment we were greeted with two glasses of champagne to when we said goodbye, we felt so relaxed and well cared-for. Everything appears to have been recently renovated but in keeping with the style of the building. The inn is immaculate and the grounds are so lovely. It really felt like a country escape. Our room was lovely and spacious, with a large "dressing room" that had an easy chair, clawfoot tub, and two sinks. The adjoining bathroom had a two-headed shower and toilet. It came also with a mini fridge and iPad. We would have liked a TV, but could watch what we wanted on the iPad. The inn has done a great job implementing Covid protocols. All staff were masked and the dining area had been spread into three public rooms of the inn to keep tables far apart. When my husband and I sat at the small bar, other guests were not allowed into the room. We had morning coffee delivery to our room before breakfast, then enjoyed the delicious two-course breakfast with homemade banana nut bread. We enjoyed the five-course dinner with wine pairings at the restaurant and it was superb. Every course was amazing. We drove to the Front Royal entrance of Shenandoah National Park and got advice for a hike at the first ranger station. Other than that, we just enjoyed relaxing at Glen Gordon Manor! I cannot wait to return!
