We were here for a wedding weekend. The room/condo was very nice. No main service. The wedding banquet food was excellent and the Venue picturesque. Beautiful day but windy. Great place for a destination wedding venue!

All was well until someone started construction in a next door unit. Room phone did not work. Cell was marginal inside the unit. Great water views. Wifi connection available but nobody told us where to find the passwords. Unit was very neat and clean. Hard to open sliding window enclosures on the porch. Needed lubricant. We were generally happy despite...

I have stayed at this property numerous times and have reviewed it before. My review this time will sound very similar to the previous. My husband works between our home in Canada and Bedford, Virginia. In the summers, the children and I take a trip to Virginia so that we can be together while he his travelling for work. We...

We do appreciate your honesty and concerns. Since we are not a full service hotel, we ask you take the trash out upon departure. The owners are responsible for the plates, silverware, etc. and we try and keep up with inventory on the items in case they are damaged or stolen so we can provide the best for our guests....

We had enjoyed a big lunch so just wanted a sandwich I had a Philly Cheesesteak and my husband a Rueben. I would have liked au jus with mine but it was tasty. My husband liked the Rueben. The server was excellent and the price reasonable. About $10 each for sandwich and a side.

We booked a king bed room with kitchenette. This was the most convenient location as we were attending a reunion at a friends lake home. The room was adequate. Bed not too bad. The main problem was how bright it was so early in the morning! Curtains do not close over the blinds, so bring a mask if you want...

We will make a note of the curtains to make sure they block the sunlight more in those rooms as the sun is bright in the morning. We do not have a maid service daily as we are not a full service hotel so if you do come back, either call or come to the front desk and we will...

We were looking for a place to stay while attending a concert at the Berglund Center in Roanoke. Instead of spending $150 on a regular hotel room in Roanoke we inquired about staying at an RCI resort close by. Mariners Landing was listed as an RCI resort but upon calling we were told they wouldn't be an RCI participant until...

While the area is nice you are really not close to anything. No staff after hours. Even during the day you rarely see anyone but guests. Bottles and cans thrown around outside the rooms. Restaurant food mediocre at best. Rooms are overpriced. Would not return.

We are sad to hear you did not have a good overall experience with us. We do have an after hours number to call if you need anything as our front desk employees all live within Mariners Landing. We would be happy to offer you a discount if you are ever in the area again.

While looking at SMLake real estate, I booked a one night stay at The Pointe mid-week in September. The place was fairly empty, and we arrived "after hours" (7pm) and left "before hours" (8am). The one bedroom condo was clean, but the slightest movement caused the bed to squeak horribly, which made for a disruptive overnight. Since the place isn't...
