Terri, Roger, Christina, and Dr. Wayne made our stay amazing. Breakfast was delicious and they even took the time to make sure I had gluten free options available. We were warmly welcomed with roses, fruit, and wine in our room (part of the romance package). It's a short walk (about 10 min) into downtown for food, dessert, and shopping. We...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review! The 2 of you certainly partook in all that the Inn and the area of Harrisonburg has to offer. We are always happy to create breakfasts that cater to our guest's dietary needs. Our location just on the edge of the Historic Downtown is really ideal, close enough...

My husband and I came to Harrisonburg and stayed 6 nights at The Stonewall Jackson Inn. We are relocating to Harrisonburg and loved the central location of the property. Terri and Roger were AMAZING!!!! From the moment we set foot through the front door we felt like Family!!! There was not anything they wouldn't do for us during our stay!!!...

Aww, you are making us blush! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay, but I can tell you that we enjoyed you as much as you enjoyed us! You were such a delight and we loved starting our days laughing with you over breakfasts. As Innkeepers, one of our very favorite things is having a breakfast room full...

My boyfriend and I decided to stop at stonewall to break up our drive and we're so glad we did! Terri was a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, full plate with eggs and yummy sausage and endless coffee. Felt like we were being served in a diner! We even got a sweet e-mail afterwards from the...

I planned to make a last-minute trip to visit my daughter at JMU, and I decided to splurge and spend two nights at this B&B instead of just checking into the local Days Inn or Motel 6 since I knew she had plans Friday night and I'd be sitting at the place for several hours that evening... What a great...

There is a "Better Way to Stay" as every B&B enthusiast will tell you! If you just want a same old place to sleep stay at a hotel/motel. But if you are looking for an experience that you will enjoy so much you will remember it forever, we can do it! We make memories here.....Lisa will never forget her stay...

I stayed here on business and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Sheridan and it was lovely. Breakfast was wonderful and the innkeepers are so very attentive. Thank you so much for such a nice stay!

You are so welcome! I love the Sheridan room too. With the huge & beautiful Magnolia tree right outside the large window and that soft blue interior with the rocking chair, it is a winner. The Cannon Ball bed with the memory foam topper and in-suite bath tops it off. But the Breakfast to Remember is the coupe de grace...

Stonewall Jackson Inn was a really lovely overnight experience. The kind and friendly staff, Aurillia and Tony, couldn't have been more helpful . The rooms were immaculate, warm and cozy. Tony's breakfast was outstanding, pleasing to look at and very delicious! Dr. Engel, the owner, obviously loves sharing his home and the history behind it. Stonewall Jackson Inn was a...

This little place was perfect, just perfect! We arrived very late yet were met with a smile...and a flashlight! We had driven 16 hours through curvy mountain roads (interstate was closed) and the linens...oh those sheets...I felt like I was 10 years old and slept like a contented child. Then came breakfast and my favorite, eggs Benedict. Quality ingredients, delightful...

What can I say :-) It was so much fun to have you here. "Spic and Span" is our middle name and our sheets are imported from the Pakistan/Indian border area where fine cotton was invented and cultivated. They also have a special labor intensive technique for processing and weaving the cloth that makes super luxurious. Our linens are not...

My husband and I took a weekend trip during New Years Eve to some of the wineries in the area. Wayne, Vincent, Athena and Anthony were fantastic hosts. Stayed here for a night; wish it had been longer. The staff is very friendly. Upon check in, we were given a list of local businesses that partner with them. We were told if we showed their card, we could get discounts. This is a win-win for everyone. The house has several rooms, all named for Civil War generals. We...

Whoo hoo! The Robert E. Lee Room does have a view of the Allegheny Mountain Range that you can see when the leaves are not on the majestic Linden Tree just outside the windows of that room. That's why we informally call it our Tree Top Room, cause in the non winter seasons you have the feeling of sleeping in...
