Do not stay here! My husband & I stayed here while we visited my son at JMU. The room smelled like mildew and wet dog. The linens didn't smell clean, so we had to shower at my son's apartment. The walls are paper thin that you can hear the guests in the next room as if they were in our room. I will never stay here again!
Wow, what a difference from the Ramada next door. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I requested to see a Queen room prior to booking and she did not hesitate. The rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable. The breakfast consisted of biscuits, gravy, waffles and cereal. The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee pot.
Stayed for one night on our way to Florida. Room was nice with some of the softest linens ever. Very clean. The window seat is.a nice idea but missed having a chair to sit in. Breakfast was good; however, there were no hot options. Front desk personnel were very nice. Would stay here again.
For the price I was disappointed. The bathrooms looks old and dirty and the mattresses were very hard and the pillows were flat. I expected more comfort.the breakfast was excellent, the location was excellent.
Very helpful if assistance is needed. One room during one of many stays was particularly tiny. It wasn’t particularly busy time for them and we were easily moved to another room that was nearly double the first room at same cost. During another trip we had an exceptionally long day and arrived at 5 a m due to a series of events during trip. They were gracious and helped us get the much needed sleep we needed at a fair price and check out when we were ready! Couldn’t be more grateful. Will use this place again and again as they never disappoint!
Spotless room and buliding. Very comfortable beds. Quiet rooms. Only a few cons that keep this from being a 5 star review. 1. Parking is a nightmare. Not enough parking. 2. Shower is one of those makeshift showers with a hose and the device that holds it up fell and almost hit me in the head. Very lut of place in what is otherwise a brand new buliding? 3. Was expecting nicer towels and washcloths
1. Good location 2. Can be noisy - the traffic noise woke me up several times. I am generally a sound sleeper. 3. The A/C -heater unit is really noisy. 4. They could not be more environmentally irresponsible if they tried. 5. If you drink tea - forget it - the hot water tastes strongly of coffee. 6. The hotel staff is friendly if you are typically American. Otherwise they are professional. Its very jarring to see how friendly they are with the people before you and behind you - but treat you with a cold 'name, license and credit card please'. If you are Asian American - be prepared to be cold shouldered by the staff here. 7. If you have the option to pay extra for breakfast - skip it.
Very nice and personable staff. Rooms were pleasant and clean. Coffee and breakfast options were minimal but good to have in a crunch. Some of the other guest were travelling workers who liked to party into the night; The noise was the only downside.
Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff and accomodated my dog. Breakfast is wonderful. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. I was appreciative to have a room close to elevator with dog. We stay here as it is halfway between Tennessee and NY.
Near highway 81, good place to stop while on a road trip. Quiet place. Beakfast included. Clean. Price correct. Choose the suites to have more space in the room. Wifi okay. Friendly staff. For dinner, go not far from the hotel on the corner lights at The Sub Station Mexican Grill... very good food. A thiny restaurant managed by a family, good portion and tasty.
