I spent the weekend along with friends at Camp Cove and we had a great time. I was a first time camper. My friends have frequented Cove camp ground many times. The weekend was relaxing and fun! Our site was right by the lake and offered amazing views! Upon arrival we bought our wood at check in. Our site was...

While I love how spread out and quiet this campground is, the price for camping compared to the quality and value received is not even comparable. The fire ring in our campsite was nearly non-existent - stones were all fallen down and ring was filled to top with ash. Surface of picnic table was unlevel. We were camping with friends...

The location is pretty and quiet. A nice lake with trees by camp 1 where the hookups for the campers are. However, it seems pretty expensive for the quality in my opinion. You pay for the site, each person that stays per night, and for electricity hook up per night. There is a fire ring and picnic table at each...

the owners are very unfriendly and charge you for every little thing you do. they do not maintain property and treat you like they don`t want you there. there are only outhouse type bathrooms. four wheeler and jeep trails are beat up.

Cocky, arrogant, rude and nickel-and-dime management. Overpriced!!! You should run away as fast as you can and pray to god you never get to experience this horrible place never again. Save yourself from this misery.

Pros: Many good fishing holes, scenic views, spacious camp sites Cons: Way over priced, all advertised amenities are not included in the nightly rate My wife and I went out to The Cove for a Labor Day weekend get away. It was easy to find, and the directions on the website were spot on (more on the website down below)....

So much room to spread out (3000+ acreas), but only 1 main bathroom/shower house! So if you camp, you get alot of shade, space & freedom, but will hike/drive to the bathroom/shower; they do provide out houses among campsites for more primitive camping. no electric or water hook ups- only available at RV site. keep in mind thou, one bathhouse...

Cove is large and scenic. It is private property so you don't need a boating permit. You can do almost anything you please as long as you don't bother other campers. This place attracts free spirits. I take several adult coworkers with me when I go. This may not be the best campground for young children.

I went out there to camp with some friends - the area seems like it's beautiful and I heard it has some nice trails. However, I got there at 7pm, and had to change plans and leave by 9pm. The camping area was full of hammered people, and someone FIRED A GUN INTO THE AIR at 8pm from a nearby...

“campsites across the lake are nice- just a bit of distance to bathhouse”

“I never want a camp site close to showers and bathrooms. I prefer camping on the fringe so people won't cut thru my camp site. The temperature can drop sharply at night. Also don't plan on getting in the water until afternoon.”
