We stayed in The Pines for two nights in late September. The cabin was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, well furnished and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Not too fancy, not too rustic - just right! The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with good hiking trails just outside the front door. We took advantage of the location and visited... More

The place was perfect for a weekend getaway and the hiking was absolutely wonderful at this time of year. Clean cabin, quiet and breathtaking views! Will definitely recommend to those wanting a quick day trip and/or an overnight trip. Tons of local vineyards and off-the-road market places to buy fresh fruit, local wines and food.

We spent a very relaxing 3 nights at Pines Cottage. Chuck has laid everything on, and the pool is gorgeous. We did manage 3 meals at Jack's Shop Kitchen, which reflects a lack of nearby dining options, but the kitchen was well-equipped. So was the bathroom. John-Henry was keen to play with sticks, but doesn't bark or smell (you guessed:... More

Perfection! Creek House was lovely. Can't wait to plan another visit! If you ever find yourself in Dyke, VA. this is the place to stay. Excellent communication with the owner who guided us in the dark through so very winding roads. Just wish our visit was longer.

These cottages are a wonderful place to get away, to commune with nature, to unwind, to romance, or all of the above. Each cottage is private, unique, and absolutely delightful. Well equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom.

My husband and I spent a long weekend in the Pines for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was very relaxing. I couldn't believe how well appointed the cottage was. I loved the little touches like bath salts and bath robes. We will definitely be back sometime. I only wish they had a cottage that we could bring our kids to... More

After three years of not being able to get away, we just spent five beautiful (but hot) relaxing days in The Pines cabin. Chuck and Stu have thought of everything for a quiet, relaxing stay. Even though it was too hot to go out (and I really didn't want to anyway), there were books, games, cards, puzzles enough to keep... More

This cabin is located in the foothills of the Park (Eastern side) and is comfortable for 2 people. We chose the Cabin overlooking the creek but any fears we had about mosquitoes and bugs were put to rest as the cabin and especially the deck is about 40 feet above the creek. The only disturbance was birds and rushing water.... More

What great getaway. We have stayed at Montfair and was upset they were booked. Found Chesley and was glad we did. Cabins were so clean, had everything we needed. We went for our 22nd anniversary and sat on the porch, talked, played games and just relaxed. Took a drive to Stone Mountain winery and came back to warm chocolate chip... More
