Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Rooms are relatively large with higher ceilings than most hotels which added to the perception. We stayed off season weekday therefore hotel was not full. The rate was very reasonable. Front desk was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good with...More
On our way to North Carolina, we made a quick stop at this hotel, the night auditor was great and friendly. Rollaway bed has a fee of $17 dollars, breakfast was good and I could said best Western omelet ever.
Stayed here overnight. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Located close to I-95. Some fast food restaurants near by. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. The only real con is the noise of the train as it passes behind the property. Our room...More
Overall bad.. did not get correct room type, dirty, several broken things inside room. Was not impressed and we usually always stay at a Country Inn and Suites. Night manager seemed very confused , and it was not a busy time.More

I also did not go to Kings Dominion. There is a shuttle but if you are trying to stay fit, this location is walkable to the amusement park. Not sure how many steps it would actually take, but a quick look on the Internet shows it is 0.8 miles. Kings Dominion offers hand stamps for re-entry. This would allow a family with younger people to take a break at the hotel during a visit.
