Damascus Virginia"s claim to fame is the AT and the Creeper Bike Trail. Unfortunately they have left the best B&B out. The Lazy Fox Inn is wonderful, Quite, Clean, Unpretentious. The best breakfast you will ever sit down to eat! I have stayed with Miss Ginny off and on for the last 10 years. I have told everyone I know...

Miss Ginny (92 yrs young) has the gift of hospitality. She loves having people stay in her home. She glows when she talks about her B&B and the people who stay with her. She knows all the AT lingo. Her breakfast was delicious and quite a wide variety. Homemade biscuits & pancakes were yummy, crispy bacon, good coffee & much...

Tucked away in the sleepy town of Damascus VA is an absolute GEM of a bed and breakfast - The Lazy Fox Inn. The proprietor is Miss Ginny Adams - a 92 year young bundle of energy. Every morning Miss Ginny gets up and makes a breakfast for her guests. Not your typical B&B breakfast - but one featuring two...

We come to ride the Virginia Creeper and spend time with our son and family who camp in the area. Mrs. Ginny Adams, the owner, who will soon be 92 years old is a hoot. Her and her friend Joe, make a breakfast fit for kings and queens. All homemade that morning. Her peach and blueberry cobblers are to kill...

The amazing thing abut the Lazy Fox Inn is the breakfast. Think of a country breakfast item, and it is on the table. My only complaint is that the private suite on the first floor is not meant for someone tall.

We had an amazing May 16 stay at the Lazy Fox prior to a 5 day section hike on the AT. Miss Ginny was amazing, as was her breakfast. The Lazy Fox is an easy walk from all of the down town Damascus amenities. We can't wait until our trek takes us back.

We made reservations with Miss Ginny months in advance as we were coming in the Sunday after trail days ended. Unfortunately Miss Ginny was not having a good memory day that day. Upon arrival we found we had no reservations. Miss Ginny could care less. Heck her place was full so she just sat at her dining table looking thru...

A quaint Victorian Inn makes for a good base point in Damascus. The Lazy Fox Inn is owned & operated by the charming Miss Ginny, a 90+ year old who along with her helper creates a true country breakfast spread every morning; gravy, biscuits, bacon, sausage, casseroles, fruit, etc. The downstairs queen has it's own bath and the three bedrooms...

the title should say it all. I don't know of any place outside of my hometown town that I've visited three times in one year- and all because of the lazy fox inn. yes, Damascus is a sleepy, little trail town that graciously caters to all of the visitors of the beautiful AT & creeper trail- but it's Ms. Ginny...

Miss Ginny and her family certainly know how to make folks feel welcome! Everything about this place makes you feel comfortable. They've got lots of great outdoor seating on the front porch, back porch, hammocks that overlook babbling Laurel Creek in the backyard. It's nicely located just off the main road in smalltown Damascus, and is situated two blocks from...
