Our family of four stayed with the Yoders on New Year's Eve. We were greeted warmly and treated to the exceptional hospitality. The Inn is in fantastic shape considering its age. We had plenty of comfortable space to relax and spread out after being confined in the car for many hours. All our needs had been anticipated!

The inn was in a very history building but it was well appointed. The breakfasts were made to order and delicious. The family that operates the B&B were most accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely be visiting and staying here again in the near future.

My mom and I stayed for three nights and were very very pleased with EVERY detail. Garlan, Sylvia, and their children were very pleasant hosts. Our breakfast was excellent every morning and our room was comfortable with a large bathroom and a cute little room for reading or just relaxing by the sunny window. We stayed in the Brookside room...

such an amazing building, in the middle of nowhere - so somewhat disapointing that the trucks did not seem to stop all night. Needs work on it - bathroom very ancient (water smelly and I am over avocado and gold bathrooms). nice owner who seemed overwhelmed by us (we were only guests) so maybe a change of owner will be...

My wife and I stayed at the Buckhorn in early September as part of our first road trip having moved from the UK to Virginia. WE stayed in the Stonewall Jackson Suite. The reception was friendly, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The Inn had all the necessary amenities and the home cooked breakfast...

From the first time we contacted the Yoder's we knew it would be special. They were so accommodating and attentive to our email questions. When we arrived we were amazed at the absolute beauty and architectural charm of this home. Please make time during your stay to wander around and just look up. The tin ceiling, and the boarding on...

Based on other reviews in TA , we had high expectations for this inn. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The innkeepers seemed to be nice folks who are running an inn and raising a family of three. The first floor is dedicated to the restaurant portion of the inn which is currently closed. We stayed in the Hummingbird room. The view...

I am so sorry we did not meet your expectations. We certainly try to make everyone as feel as comfortable as possible and I guess we failed this time.

The Buckhorn Inn is a lovely oasis from the craziness of life. it a beautiful historical house with all the modern amenities.Sylvia and Garlan were warm and gracious hosts. My only regret is that Parent's Weekend was not at the end of October so we could have enjoyed the fall colors. May just have to go back!

Thank you ladies. We enjoyed getting to know you. Just to be clear, the reliable source on the omelettes was my son... I'll take it any where I can get it :).

We had a wonderful weekend at the Buckhorn Inn. Breakfast was fabulous each day. The Yoders were wonderful and soo accommodating. The weekend was made even more special by getting engaged. Plan to return many times to make new and exciting memories. Could not have asked for a better stay.
