We recently spent 3 nights at the Lighthouse Motel in Chincoteague VA while attending the Pony Penning & Swim. The proprietors are very nice and very accommodating. Our room was clean, bright, had a very comfortable bed, and had a microwave, refrigerator with a freezer, and coffee maker. The linens are quality and the towels are very thirsty and soft....

I visited Chincoteague for the first time in July, 2015, and stayed for a weekend at this Island hotel owned by a lovely local couple. The location is great - within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the waterfront area. Everything was clean and the rooms neat and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with the owners who recommended two...

A wonderful small 2 story retro motel located in the heart of Chincoteague's historic district. This pet friendly motel makes you feel like you're right at home. Buddy, my little dog, and I relaxed on the double-sized hammock and watched all the comings and goings on Main St. If you like oysters and soft shell crabs, this is the place...

We only stayed here for one night, as a way to break the trip up on our way home to Philadelphia after a stay in the Outer Banks. Because we weren't staying for long, I didn't want to break the bank, but I also wanted to stay at an independent, family-owned spot. As other reviewers mentioned, the highlight of our...

We arrived a little late, but the Innkeepers Ben and Lauren were more than welcoming and accommodating. We checked into a room by the office with our dog and stayed for the weekend.
