Barbara and David were outstanding hosts at the Channel Bass Inn. We stayed for three nights and we were very well taken care of ! The accommodations were so lovely and very comfortable. We loved the house and grounds. Breakfast was spectacular and so delicious. It was very relaxing. We met some lovely people who were also staying there, but...

We were so lucky to find this B&B. Delightful. A gorgeous house with very nice rooms. The grounds around are also worth strolling in. A family of ducks were having a great time in one of the small ponds. The hosts, David and Barbara, get high notes since they were so kind and nice to us and all the other...

My husband and I stayed at the Channel Bass Inn for our 5 year anniversary in May of 2016. We stayed in two different rooms (Scarborough and Topcliffe) over an extended weekend. Both rooms were well appointed and super clean. The location was convenient near the main street. What I think makes this B&B stand out amongst the others are...

We stayed at the Channel Bass Inn with Barbara and David over Memorial Day weekend, with our 5 year old son. The innkeepers are what make this place special. They go out of their way to make all their guests feel at home, tending to every detail and even taking our 5 year old out into the garden to befriend...

My husband stayed in room 10 (Topcliff) It is a corner room with a view. Very comfortable with a couch and king size bed. The best thing though we're the owners, Barbara and David, they made us feel like family. We were met at the door and welcomed in. Barbara is a fabulous cook and her breakfasts were devine! We...

Barbara and David were an absolute delight, they immediately felt like family. My husband and I are gluten and lactose free, and Barbara made the most delicious gluten free ginger scone I've ever had in my life!

We spent the weekend at this wonderful inn and just loved everything about it. Our room (The Wensleydale) was bright, spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea absolutely perfect. In addition to being a wonderful hostess, Barbara is an amazing baker! For a restful weekend on this wonderful island, this is the perfect place to stay.

My husband and I had a lovely time at Barbara and David's B&B. The B&B is beautifully decorated with the hint of a by-gone era. Our room was the "No Name" room which was very peaceful and serene with a soothing touch of light green colors throughout. Bed was very comfortable and long enough for my picky 6'2" spouse. Plenty...

Wonderful intown location. You can walk to area restaurants. Barbara and David are the Innkeepers, they were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us with great meal recommendations and fun things to do. We had an early morning departure and they made sure we had coffee to go and yummy scones.
