We had a perfect two-night stay at the Inn at Monticello. It is a large, beautiful, historic home run by a very gracious couple. The family-style breakfasts in the morning were delicious. But the best part was sitting on the big front porch, watching the deer on the huge lawn, with a glass of wine and hors-d'oeuvres in the afternoon!

The Inn at Monticello is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast inn. The hostess and assistant manager are exceptionally personable and knowledgeable of the area. They go out of their way to make their guests feel at home and like family. It is convenient to tours of Monticello and other historic sites as well as the U of VA. The rooms...

Great location, superb Inn Keepers/Staff. Great guest. Breakfast = super! Stayed in the cottage that had nice amentities, great bed and bath. Room enough to relax during a rain storm too. However, I’d caution staying in the metal roof cottage during late Sept/Early Oct as the Black Walnut Tree’s falling Nuts which left something to be desired if you wanted...

The Inn at Monticello is a very nice B&B and is in the perfect location for touring Monticello and a fantastic base for the area wineries. The owners were either out of town or had a day off, so we were greeted by their lovely assistant - a fellow UVA grad, who immediately suggested a glass of wine out on...

On a whim, my husband and I decided to visit the Charolettsville area to visit wineries. In between tastings, we called the Inn at Monticello and they happily gave us their last room. The inn sits off a major route, so it is not in the heart of Charolettesville but instead you pass through a wooded shield that brings you...

If you are looking for a nice and relaxing and quiet place to stay in Charlotttesville, we would highly recommend the Inn at Monticello. Bob and Carolyn are wonderful hosts and very interesting people. The dog and cat are also very nice! The wine break in the afternoon is a nice and homey touch. The Inn is easy to find...

We spent 4 enjoyable nights in the Jefferson Room at the Inn at Monticello. Our room was well decorated and quiet with its own side porch. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The local wine each afternoon was a treat, as were the yummy homemade cookies at bedtime. The owners/innkeepers, Bob and Carolyn, are gracious and friendly. The property is...

The Inn at Monticello is a nice place to stay while visiting Charlottesville, Virginia. The location is marvelous for those who wish to be close to the historic sites of the city. It is about a 5 minute drive from Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s famous estate. Though the inn is right off the highway, the expansive tree-lined front yard blocks it...

From the first moment you see a glimpse of the beautiful building that is the Inn at Monticello you know that you are about to experience a wonderful vacation. If the weather is kind you may even steel a few moments in one of the rocking chairs on the porch to reflect on the garden and hills beyond before venturing...

My daughter and I recently visited Charlottesville. Our stay was enhanced by our accommodations at the Inn at Monticello. We occupied the cottage ,which was charming and comfortable. The four poster bed with a crewelwork canopy ,hand embroidered by the owner's mother and the fireplace , added to the charm. To top it off, the bath had its own steam...
