Was a little concerned with some of the reviews but have to say it is a good campground to go to. I could see concern for standing water as it is very flat here. During our trip we had no such issues. There is a lot to do here for kids. The pools were nice, crowded, but nice. Paddle boats...

I'm torn, I had a great time, but it was pretty much the company we kept. We celebrated my hubby 50th birthday, he had came as a child with his grandparents and always had good memories. We rented 4 cottages for all the kids and grandkids, we booked them a year and a half in advance, reading all the negative...

We've been coming here for the last several years and look forward to returning each year. There's plenty of activities scheduled throughout the day and of course there's fishing, boating, clamming, crabbing. There's a huge swimming and water play area that my kids enjoy. Each time we come I always visit the farm stand and get a flounder sandwich or...

We stayed at Cherrystone at the end of our road trip for a couple of days of relaxing. Campground is very large and was very full due to holiday. Our site had a great view of the Bay and river. Our site was sandy and dry, but numerous others were mud puddles. The campground did have staff going around throwing...

We had a great time even though there was lots and lots of rain. Because of all the rain, lots of the sites were flooded. However, campground maintenance came out and drained the worst sites and added mulch to help. Luckily our site was slightly elevated so we didn't have this issue. The band on Saturday and acoustic guitarist on...

Upon arrival Friday night of July 4th weekend we found our rented campsite under 1 foot of water. The site "rangers were helpful in after 2 failed tries (both sites also swamped) they located us on a dry campsite. We were 7 people in 2 cars.As we set up camp we were told to check with the main office the...

Even though the website advertises they are "pet friendly" don't go unless you have your own camper or tent. My wife and I wanted to go but were surprised to read that pets are not allowed in any of the rentals! Even the bare-bones cabins! I'm curious exactly what "health requirements" mandate this? Come on guys it's a CABIN -...

This was our second time camping at Cherrystone and we have already booked our trip for next year, so that should tell you this is a great place. We came in on a Tuesday and enjoyed it not being too crowded, as the week went on the campground really filled up. We stayed on Crab Lane and had easy access...

At first, I thought it was a little pricey for a campground, but quickly realized you get your money's worth. There is something for everyone and it is really well maintained. All this and a beautiful setting...

This resort is very nice!!! They provide a great experience for the whole family. There is so much todo inside, like the pool, trails, paddle boats, and kayaks. Also outside of the resort, Cape Charles is a very nice town with a beach. I definitely recommend this for a summer family vacation. The cabins have electric, water, and air condition....
