Love this place. Never a dull moment. From fishing to crabbing, swimming and putt putt golf. Great atmosphere. Safe and friendly. Food lion nearby. Cape Charles beach 5 minutes away. We've stayed in cabins and camper. Never disappointed 😄

we were there at the end of May. not really troubled by bugs of any kind. but you are near moving water & that helps. we live in a mountain area & am quite familiar with bugs....hate them....ha. seriously not much of a problem as we saw it & we were there in a rainy season. take some Cutter just to be safe. campfires are allowed so that also helps. (wood to purchase nearby, don't bring) You're gonna have a great time!
