Recently my wife and I stayed here while visiting the Bristol area. The lady that checked us in was nice and friendly. She advised their breakfast was limited due to Covid. Based upon what my wife saw when she went to see what they offered, the desk clerk was definitely right about the selection being limited. I would stay here again if in the area and could not find anything else at a reasonable cost. However, my advice is to check and see what other places are available. You can definitely get more bang for your buck somewhere else.
Stayed here during COVID-19 and the hotel was clean, staff was mostly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was limited due to safety as was housekeeping but the stay was good. I stayed at the rear of the hotel which i think was a good choice being away from main lobby traffic however you have a bit of a walk and may need to take stairs for entry from outside.
This place was a great value. Room was modern and updated, very clean, nicely appointed with modern furnishings and decor, granite counter tops, fridge and microwave and front desk staff was very pleasant.
Clean, comfortable and affordable with a lovely young woman at the desk when I called for a reservation. Sadly, however, there were a couple of glitches. The toilet paper holder could not have been in a more awkward place and the shower head barely worked. There was very poor water pressure and not enough hot water. In the breakfast room the half and half was spoiled. The proprietor was very apologetic, however, and tried to make it right.
We were recognized at Choice Privileges members and offered two bottles of water. That was the good part. The bad part was that there was a stain on the bottom bed sheet, which they replaced promptly. Upon reviewing the bill, we found that we were being charged for use of the safe, which we never requested. When I informed the front desk clerk, he tried to generate a new bill but it took awhile. We'll see if he did when our credit card bill comes in. The biscuits and gravy were good until the breakfast attendant watered down the gravy. If we ever get to Bristol, VA again, we'll choose a Hampton Inn instead of this hotel.
