After a long day traveling in our RV, we opted to spend the evening in a hotel to get a good nights sleep before another long drive the next day. What a joke. Room 614 overlooks the interstate. Unless you sleep with earplugs, don’t stay on the backside of this hotel. I don’t know if you can hear the truck traffic from the front rooms, but we could have slept in our RV in a rest area and heard the exact same noise. Clean, check in was smooth, but not worth the money to stay here. Before you ask why we didn’t move rooms, after traveling 9 hours we just wanted to sleep. Heat was on in room and until the room came up to temperature, you couldn’t hear the traffic. Once heater turned off, all you could here was highway traffic. I inquired about occupancy rate at check out and was told 25%. If 3/4 of your rooms are empty, why not put guests as far away from a major interstate, as possible? Very disappointed. …
Hotel is undergoing renovations but right now It is just a big, old hotel with just a few stray people staying there. Front desk staff told us all the proper 'this is closed and that has moved', but was not very welcoming. I have tons of club points and wasn't even offered a bottle of water. However, things were very quiet, the room was clean, and we did have a good night's sleep. Pet peeve: hotel rooms, like a King room, that will probably be rented by adults (no children) that still have a toilet that is about 15 inches off of the floor. Hope that as they are remodeling, they are putting in toilets that better suit anyone over 5'5" and those of us with aging bones and joints!
The website does not show or explain that they are under major construction to update the hotel. The bar and restaurant are closed so they opened a temporary set up in a conference room, which was a total joke. The website shows a nice bar and restaurant. Overall the room and hallways are outdated, run down and not clean. We would never stay here again.
We stayed one night. The hotel is under renovation so it was a little undone in areas. We were in a room with two queen beds. Room was clean. They have a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The hotel does have a pool. With this Covid stuff, they still offer breakfast but you need to pre-order it. They do have an area you can sit and eat.
Hotel has seen better days but rooms are clean & comfortable. Lobby had cold feeling with the very plain ceramic tile floor and sparse furniture. No complimentary coffee bar 24/7 but there was in the morning. Good rate with the coupon, but no complimentary breakfast so that makes it just a regular rate. We would stay elsewhere next time. The staff was not friendly. Several restaurants nearby. Could not hear the interstate, very quiet.
