This place was dirty. Our none smoking room smelled so strongly of smoke we had to buy fabreeze and use it multiple times a day. The breakfast was coffee and watered down juice. The TV in our room was broken and the staff did the bare minimum not even taking the used towels or garbage out. Shower/tub was broken. And I didn’t see a single staff member using a mask. I will never stay there again.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - ESPECIALLY DURING COVID. We were there for a total of 10 hours and it was 10 hours too many. (1) The front desk clerk was not wearing a face mask! This is highly unacceptable in the time of COVID especially as she is dealing with travelers and multiple strangers a day. We immediately felt unsafe and nervous about conditions at the hotel. (2) The room itself was mediocre at best, including the fact that the curtains were broken and could not be closed. Anyone could just look into our room and furthermore there was a bright light from the hall/walkway just outside the window that blasted into our room at night. (3)There was exactly one hand soap and one shampo in the room. No conditioner, not body soap nothing! (4)Breakfast was suppose to be included in our stay - it is the main reason we picked this hotel over others. The morning we went to leave they informed us they were not doing breakfast! We understand the implications of COVID has changed many procedures and protocols but hotels have figured out a safe way to provide breakfast to their guests especially when they PROMOTE this service as a way to get booked. Truly, if I had known we would not be able to get breakfast we would not have booked this hotel. I cannot stress it enough. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.…
We arrived at this property at 11 pm ready for rest from a long day of driving. The reception room was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. The woman at the desk was not wearing a mask nor was she standing behind any kind of protective plexi glass or divider of any kind. We took our key and headed to our room. We had barely stepped across the thresh hold of our room before we were knocked over by the pungent smell of cigarette smoke in the room. We immediately turned around and let the front desk woman know we could not stay there. She insisted that someone must have broken the rules and smoked in that room and gave us another key to try a different room. That room was exactly the same and in a different part of the hotel. So, at 11:30 we had to turn around and find another hotel to stay in for the night. The only positive I will say is that after hours of calling and waiting on hold with hotels.com the hotel management finally gave approval for us to receive a refund for the night. If you smoke or are not bothered by smoke/cigarette smell than this hotel may be just fine for you. If not, look elsewhere.…
The staff was great. But the room wasn't properly cleaned ,razor end on the floor ( neither the room before that, because the room order got mixed up , (cigarette wrapper on floor)) no breakfast ,which is understandable during covid, but should be mentioned when someone calls ahead, along with the limited open hours for the pool. We got in late and we're hoping to go swimming that morning before we left. Kids were very dissappointed. It wasn't open till after checkout.
I had a friend who had to drive through Bristol and needed a room. My friend was heading to a funeral in Maryland. He doesn’t have a credit card to book a room. Sandra Turner and Amanda helped me take care of the charges so that I could pay for the room. This helped us out and eased my friend’s state of mind with the loss of his cousin. Thanks for these two wonderful people. Sandra was very nice and understanding. I work for Marriott and I know how stressful things can get. Much love.
