Pros: Minifrig included. Free internet wifi with adequate speed of about 4 Mbps. Cons: Small room, no desk. Tired old motel. Suspended ceiling like an office. Plaster damage? No breakfast included. No free ice. No thermostat in our room. Heat on all the time. Room way too hot so we opened all the windows. Still too hot. Miserable. Called the...

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this motel. It is located in a convenient location. We stayed in September and it was really quiet. The room was clean and comfy. It appears the lobby/restaurant is under construction , but that didn't bother or inconvenience us at all.

When we were looking for a place to stay we wanted value and a place close to town. The value for the Viking was good. The hotel is still suffering from the flood years ago. The room was clean, but a little musty. We opened the windows and that cleared it up. The heat was on and one could not...

Road tripping by the seat of your pants is always iffy when it comes to finding a place to stay for the night. We decided to give this place a try. We asked to see the room first and found it clean and comfy for a nights stay. We found that it has been owned by the same person since...

Six guys on motorcycles stayed here for 1 night. Accommodations are average, but workable. Biggest downside was their restaurant (and the entire hotel) had been flooded out in 2011, and while the hotel was refurbished, the restaurant was still (4 years later) under construction. So we hoofed it down the block to eat, which wasn't a big deal, but it...

This motel was not our first choice. However we had trouble booking the place in Bennington when there was a misunderstanding and then the place in Bennington tried to charge us a $50 cancellation fee just moments after we had asked about a room. We are so glad we ended up at the Viking motel. When we arrived in the...

Attended the Garcia Project concert at Memorial Hall on Sept 12, and the Motel was only 1/2 a mile form the Hall and downtown Wilmington. Although the units are dated everything is clean and comfortable. A minor issue is being the building is older there is not enough electrical outlets for all of the electrical items provided in the unit,...

The room was clean and decent and the bed was fairly comfortable, however, the heat was on all night long on a fairly warm night and we could not turn it off because it's controlled by the owner. This was after a 90 degree day and the temp that night was around 58 degrees. I had the AC on hoping...
