Are you looking for an establishment that captures the lure of a 'Traditional Motel' of years past - (? Think Route 66 ?) - may we suggest the 'Viking Motel' in Wilmington, Vermont! Just miles from Mount Snow, the Viking offers immaculate rooms at down to earth prices. The management Team is professional and very accommodating. Supplemented by an efficient...

We stayed at the Viking for two nights in January. We went in not expecting to be wowed and that's how we left. At $89 a night compared to the $250 a night closer to Mount Snow, you can't expect too much. What we found was an adequate room with two double beds, clean sheets and towels. We stayed in...

The walls and bathroom were dirty, the woman at check-in was unfriendly and when I asked to change rooms because of noise above me she said there were no other rooms available, despite the Vacancy sign out front! There was a big ice patch in the parking lot which no one bothered to put rock salt on. Won't return.

your complaint of noise from the room above is unreasonable.......It was 5:30 p.m. and skiers were still checking in or going out to dinner.......all normal activity for that time of day. Sorry to differ, but the bathroom is not dirty

We stayed at the Viking Motel for 2 nights during early ski season. It's about 15 minutes from Mount Snow. The room was clean and spacious. There was a flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave and small coffee maker. On the second day included in the cleaning was a new package with a second coffee packet. Clean, warm, well lit, comfortable...

Upon arrival the woman who checked us in acted inconvenienced. For the price, we weren't expecting much from the room but we found out that the temperature controls for our room were actually in another, which wasn't helpful. The property just doesn't seem like it has been well maintained and is getting run down, which was disappointing because the area...

This is the best kept secret in New England. The rooms are warmly furnished, spotless, and the owners so hospitable. Best of all the rates are a pure bargain. Very affordable and a great getaway for travelers and those in the area.

I don't usually stay at motels- probably because I have (or shall I say now, "used to have") a biased, unfair image of them, but while looking for a place I could take my precious pooch while attending a lovely family reunion of a childhood friend in the Wilmington area, I found this place, and now I am a convert....

We drove in, slept and drove out. It was adequate for a nights rest. Easily seen by weary eyes in the drivers seat. This motel has a nice old fashioned front porch but there is no charm to be found in the room unless you count the extra blankets that seemed to be leftovers from what was issued to soldiers...
