Quaint! Sweet! Lovely! the only way to describe The Nutmeg Inn. The staff and owner were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and our room was clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fireplace and we were able to bring our dog with. My boyfriend proposed to me on our hike and later found out the staff helped him make it...

Stayed at our favorite place again. Went to see the foliage, but it was raining all day. Stayed in and enjoyed the room. Wendy and the staff were great as always. We met some of the family members of the new owners. Very pleasant. We hope to meet the new owners on our next trip. The Inn and the people are...

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very clean and quaint. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, it had a fireplace and a sitting area. The breakfast was delicious. Everyone that worked there was very friendly. I would go back again.

We stayed here in the honeymoon suite while on a honeymoon tour of New England. We stayed in several different Bed and Breakfast Inns and a luxury resort, and we both agreed that this was our favorite and that we can't wait to go back. This was the one place we really did not want to leave. The Inn itself...

The inn was lovely and very old, part of the living room was an old carriage house. Charming creaky floors and furniture to lounge about. Front desk Karen was very friendly and helpful. That said, cannot say I liked a B&B. Very close to the road, not quiet, creaky footsteps and tiny rooms. They are not for me, but fun to...

Thanks so much for your review, we welcome feedback from all our guests. You're right, the building is old and creaky (its history is one of the things we love about it) - we will be taking steps over the coming months to modernize where we can without losing the building's great character. Unfortunately though, the creaky floors have been...

We expected a pleasant stay after reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. This is a very old building with no two rooms the same. The staff, especially Wendy and Deb went out of their way to provide the best personal service ever. Very impressive! The breakfast service was excellent and there are several unique...

This inn is just under new management. The service is outstanding and the breakfasts are substantial. The rooms and bathrooms are very tired which is a shame. The location was great and the restaurants in Wilmington offer a good choice for dinner. We were recommended the Anchor restaurant by the inn and we had two lovely meals there. This will...

We loved the Nutmeg Inn! Wendy at the front desk couldn't have been friendlier, and we enjoyed meeting the family of the inn owners and the other guests! Breakfast was delicious - I had a different dish all four days I was there, and they were all top-notch. The rooms were great - definitely recommend room 10 - steps to...

We happened upon this lovely inn by accident after deciding it was too late to begin our drive on Route 100 through the Green Mountain National Forest. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Nutmeg. The room was spacious and clean. We only stayed 1 night, but would have liked to stay longer.
