I stayed overnight due to a business meeting the next morning. I had no issues at all. We had a snow storm that day and the staff was very helpful with information regarding the road and travel time to my meeting that day! Nice clean hotel!
Visiting family in the area and wanted to stay at a known , quality brand hotel. Hampton Inn always deliver a quality stay. Will be staying here again in the future. The rooms were clean and the overall experience was very good.
I had a very quiet and comfortable night's sleep here. The staff was very helpful in helping me find a place to eat dinner. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare available from 6-10 AM. The price was reasonable. The only tricky part was locating the hotel but thanks to my GPS I found it with no problem. I would stay here on future visits to the area.
You always know where you stand when you book a room at a Hampton Inn - a nice welcome and a clean, comfortable room. The Hampton Inn at White River Junction in Vermont was no exception. After a flight from New York to Boston and a tiring Friday evening drive from Boston to White River Junction (which took much longer than we had expected), we were very glad when we arrived at the Hampton Inn. We had a speedy buffet meal at a local Chinese restaurant and returned to the hotel and went to bed. The breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn breakfast, no surprises there. We did have a problem on departure because the credit card we used when we checked in would not work when we checked out and we had to use another card. (The pending payment, on the original credit card, took over a month until it finally dropped off the system.) Apart from this unusual glitch, my wife and I greatly enjoyed our overnight stay at the White River Junction Hampton Inn (which is very handily placed for those wishing to visit the impressive, nearby Quechee Gorge.
I have stayed here numerous times before with previously a good experience with room, food and courtesy. This time, they changed the type room to one that was not ideal without telling us and with a rather poor excuse when we inquired. The room was booked a year ago but they gave the room away before we arrived with a confirmed reservation. Additionally, our room was not cleaned even though they said they would. The manager was supposed to call after we arrived but we are now back home and no call. Don't know if this is just a one-off or a deterioration of service. Next booking in the area coming up soon (already made) will be at a different site until they resume their usual quality.
