My husband and I visited with our pug, Kitt. Despite less than ideal weather (very hot with thunderstorms), we had a wonderful time! Mitch, the host, was very welcoming and gave us good tips and great breakfasts. His dog, Stanley, was also great, and his son, Kyle, was a charmer. Kitt really enjoyed playing with other dogs in the fenced...

This was our first vacation with our dog and we had a great time!!!! Mitch had great dog friendly suggestions so we got to spend the whole vacation with our dog! We played in the dog park at the inn, went hiking and had dinners with our furry guy by our side! Breakfast was great! Best omelette I ever had!...

Came here for a weekend getaway with my husband and dog. Everything was perfect. They gave daily suggestions for hikes based on the weather and for dog-friendly restaurants in the area. We loved our room (the Shakespeare room) and our dog could not have been happier here.

I saw this Inn online while I was looking for a place to stay with our 3 Border Collies..... I called and spoke to Mitch who is the owner and booked 3 nights there for myself and my daughter. Mitch mentioned that he would not be there during our stay, but that his staff would be there to meet us....

Very friendly bed and breakfast, staff is very nice and friendly . They provide great ideas and suggestions for visits in the area ( hicking, swimming etc..) The breakfast in the morning is very fresh and made from local goods and tastes great. The facilities for the dogs are awesome. It's our second visit and there will be more !

Before making my reservation for vacation in Vermont, I searched high and low for a suitable situation for my pitbull mix named Samantha. Back story on Samantha: She is a pound puppy from a municipal in Connecticut. She lived on the streets of a city,...

This lovely old inn welcomes dogs and their owners. My dog played from the time we arrived. Mitch is the ultimate great host and cooks a wonderful creative breakfast. There was an overall laid back feel to the place. Our room was clean and lovely right down to the dogs bed.

We stayed for two weekend nights and enjoyed ourselves. The place is clean and a great place to go when you want to take your dog. The breakfast consisted of an apple muffin, fruit cup and either a waffle or omelette and was good both mornings. The kennel was clean and a great place to keep our dog when we...

This is the best place to go with your pup. The on site kennel makes it easy if you need to leave the dog behind but Rutland is so dog friendly there isn't much of a need. The hotel is nice and real clean. The breakfast in the morning is great. We have been a few times now and its...

What a great place. Dogs are treated so special there. People too. Mitch was great, Breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were nice. The dog kennels were clean and very nice. Lots of space for hanging out with your dog. The Rutland area is very dogcentric.
