Good size bedroom, very clean and elegant in a great location. Amenities included toiletries, free coffee, free water. However, after the first night, no additional water bottles were given and the shampoo/shower soap were not replenished the second day. The front office was not capable of recommending restaurants as he had just "moved to town". Would expect these little things...

Thank you for your review, and for keeping us on our toes! We are glad you enjoyed the complimentary amenities we provided in the rooms, but are very sorry you didn’t get the full housekeeping experience on your subsequent nights. Please know we will address with the team the importance of being consistent. We hope to have the pleasure of...

We stayed in Room 3 for six nights in December. Overall, I would probably stay again as I felt the rate was fair for what we received. That said, there are some cons which we were able tot live with, but anyone going should know about. I'll start with the cons, since I have a personal preference for "bad news...

Thank you for your review, we appreciate the constructive feedback and will certainly look into the issues you mention. The updates we are making to the property are just beginning and will be ongoing and continuing. The mattress will be the easy part – but for the elevator we’ll make no promises!

It was a nice place and the restaurant was very good. Of course it is not a full hotel and you have to set expectations accordingly. I.e. Service is not 24 / 7. The phone on the room did not work. The shower was a little iffy and communication was not great. We did not realize that we had ski...

My husband and I were looking forward to staying in the carriage house with our dog for our 10th anniversary but they called and said they had to change our rooms. Upon pressing them, it became clear they were changing the HOTEL as well to the Hermitage Club. What they offered us was a pokey little room in thier different...

Mrs. Cronheim, it is unfortunate that you felt the need to grind your axe here. As I said to you before, the renovations scheduled for the Inn had just gotten the green light to proceed and you were notified immediately and offered an amazingly discounted rate for a beautiful room in the carriage house at our flagship sister property. ‘Pokey’?...

The Inn at Sawmill Farm has recently been bought by The Hermitage Club which has also bought several other properties including Haystack Mountain which it is turning into a private ski hill and selling homes and homesites. Our experience there was pretty awful except for the food in the restaurant which was surprisingly, not just good but excellent. But more...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this Inn and will definitely come again. The Inn has quite a history and was in need of some TLC which it has been getting recently. Our room was beautiful. Newly renovated with a flat screen TV and updated private bath. Just down the hall was the dining room and bar. Breakfasts...

We stayed here for a few nights while we skied last winter. The room was nice, King bed was comfortable and overall a nice accommodation very close to Mount SNow. We were bummed out by no coffee in the rooms. Since we stayed in a room separate from the main house/restaurant, we had to go out in the cold to...

Sorry about your unfortunate experience last winter. We would have gladly provided a coffee maker in your room had you requested one. As far as the gift certificate for your troubles, at the time it seemed as if the gesture was satisfactory. We sincerely apologize that you did not receive it. If you call our office we will be glad...

We decided to book the Inn at Sawmill Farm for an overnight stay after a corporate outing at the Hermitage Club. We rented the Carriage House and paid close to $400.00. Upon arrival (around 5p) we tried to make reservations at the on-site restaurant, Nonna's. We were told the earlier we made the reservation the better and that they would...

We apologize for your inconvenience during your stay. We did have an issue with our phones. We try to accommodate our guests in our restaurant but when we are very busy it is not always possible. As far as the Carriage House being dated- we just underwent an extensive renovation of all of our rooms including new carpet, wallpaper removal,...

Like sleeping in a chemical factory: We booked our weekend return stay months ago. When we arrived and entered our room we were overwhelmed by the smell of new paint and new carpet. As a prospective Inn buyer, yes someone looking to purchase an Inn, I made a reservation and stayed at the property as a guest to see the property. The room stank of creosol.
