My husband and I like to climb Camel's Hump, Vermonters favorite mountain, with access from Waterbury. We have stayed at the Old Stagecoach Inn on Main Street in Waterbury a number of times. The Inn is a bit rustic and quaint. Not all bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms so call early. The staff is friendly and there is a very nice...

I had such a lovely stay at this place, kicking off my annual summer vacation to Vermont. My room was very reasonably priced and comfortable. The place is furnished with antiques and decorated with horse and military prints. Apparently Jack, the warm and friendly host, is an author--his books are for sale in the dining room. The breakfast was ENORMOUS...

We stayed a couple of nights in early August. Great location, we walked to dinner and pubs. The owner and staff was friendly and helpful. We got a great reccomndation on a hiking trail. The breakfasts were amazing and the room was large and comfortable. We will most definetly return.

I stayed here overnight while hiking the Long Trail, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every nook of the place houses interesting old stuff, and I enjoyed exploring while I was there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and Max (the dog) and Sophie (the parrot) were both delights! Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. If I'm ever in the neighbourhood again,...

We had a great time meeting up with friends. If you're expecting a 5 star hotel - this is not for you. If you want to be among innkeepers that care about your experience, love history, be greeted by Max at your arrival and have the best breakfast possible in Waterbury, you have hit the mark. The Huevos Rancheros are...

Do yourself a favor and sightsee in Waterbury, then move on. Waterbury is a great place to pass through, visit Ben and Jerry's, Cabot, the cider mill, eat at Prohibition Pig, but there is no reason to stay here when Burlington is only 20 minutes away. This place is not charming and full of antiques, but old, dirty, and full...

Yes, this is an old inn - vintage 1890's. If you don't want "old" in any form, don't stay here. We thought it was charming. It's a bit creaky, there are some musty things, but that's part of it's appeal. We stayed in room 4 (two double beds, private bath). There's a window air conditioner and/or a ceiling fan for...

There are not a lot of choices for lodging in Waterbury but the Old Stagecoach Inn had good reviews and seemed to be reasonable so we booked a night. We like b&b because you usually get a home cooked breakfast compared to the reheated institutional food of the chain hotels. Yes the breakfast was the best thing about the inn....

We found this wonderful b&b through a AAA book, looked at the reviews in TripAdvisor, and were not disappointed! You could tell a lot of care had been invested in the furnishings, the rooms were all unique and comfortable. The breakfast was the best of any b&b in the U.S., we've never been able to order off a menu (examples...

We are frequent visitors to Waterbury who decided to give the Stagecoach a try on our most recent trip. Booked room #7 for three nights. The room was huge, had a nicely appointed bathroom. The window A/C, ceiling fan, and lots of windows gave us several ways to control the temperature. Note: not an issue for us, but the room...
