Experience rural farm life on VT Grand View Farm. We invite you to come and stay in our 18th-century farmhouse on our hill side sheep farm in Vermont. Our farm offers beautiful views, quiet pastures with sheep grazing, pleasant country roads, wild flowers, and a lovely covered porch to relax on. We are located on a quiet dirt road, in a rural farming community, four miles outside of town. Our Farmhouse Suite is perfect for reunions, couple get-a-ways, and gatherings with family and friends. Two bedrooms with antique four poster beds await you. Wake to a full breakfast and relax in a private sitting area or porch over looking the mountains. Have use of a kitchenette, which provides a sink, refrigerator, microwave oven, and dishes. There is an outside grill with an additional side burner for our guests to use as well. You may also request a Farmhouse Dinner for an additional fee. We offer fiber arts classes and summer camps for children.

My fiance and our two friends had a lovely time staying at Grand View Farm. Chuck was a welcoming and hospitable, as were the pups Kai and Tuf. The suite is beautiful and the woodstove kept us warm through some cold nights. The snowshoe trails were serene and the sheep (and

What a beautiful cozy few nights we had snuggled into this sweet spot in February. It was the perfect get away to take a complete break from our lives and just be quiet. We could have gone snowshoeing but were enjoying the chance to do nothing, so thats exactly what we did. Kim

Being centrally located within the state, our overnight guests often use our farm as a base to tour points north and south of us. This family, however, just wanted to enjoy our farm and rural living to its fullest. They spent much time on the farm enjoying our animals, the quiet and restful atmosphere, and the open space to roam. They truly were able to disconnect from their normal busy lives and get some respite before continuing on their vacation. We look forward to future visits with us!

Winter tends to be our "slow" time of year on the farm, yet one of the most beautiful. This couple took full advantage of our offer to take them on a guided snowshoe trek in the woods across from the farm. For those looking for winter adventure, our farm is also less than a mile away from the VAST (Vermont Association of Snow Travlers) trail system and about 12 miles from the Strafford Nordic Ski Center. We so enjoyed our time hosting this lovely couple on our farm. We look forward to their return visit.
