Everything was perfect (from the accommodations and housekeeping services to the delicious farmhouse breakfasts and snacks). The Hobo hash, raspberry cottage cheese pancakes and afternoon assortment of home-baked goods were delicious! The even managed to find my husband's favorite beer. Thank you Lysbeth, Dave and the rest of the staff for making our stay something to remember. We're already planning...

I stayed here during a fall bicycle tour. The whole experience was adequate, but I think I could have done better. While it could be called quaint, I found my room and the facility in need of some tender loving care. I would have liked to have been able to open the window in my room but the window air...

The innkeeper (Lisa Beth) was very accommodating. The Inn is very quaint and has a very rustic and country feel. A very nice property and their is plenty of common space (inside and outside) for hanging out. They have an amazing breakfast! Home cooking made for you! You will never start the day off hungry if you stay here. It...

We enjoyed staying here so much! It was so cozy and felt so welcoming. The Inn Keeper is so nice and we met her extended family while we were there and they all gave us wonderful tips for our first visit to Vermont. The breakfast was so delicious and we enjoyed eating a the nearby Flatbread Pizza. The view from...

Well, as we planned our business trip to Montreal we realized that we had got an extra day, we thought to make it to Vermont to see if still there were some red leaves. The Lareau Farm is the 'best for breakfast' Inn in Waitsfield VT. Beautifully served, and delicious every day! The Inn itself is warm and welcoming, and perfectly located on Rt 100. In the evening the Barn opens for American Flatbread to be served to your order. Yes, this famous pizza is made here and worth waiting in line for your...

We chose Waitsfield as a convenient stop during our touring of Vermont. If top tier comfort is not a necessity, this place is okay for one night. It does offer very quaint surroundings including good restaurant and bar in house that changes their menu each night. They provide also nice breakfast buffet. It also has enjoyable live animals to visit...

My daughter got married there this past weekend. Lisbeth and her staff do a superb job is making sure everything is just right. The wedding ceremony was outside in the meadow which is a beautiful setting. The cocktail hour was on the lawn, with the reception inside the Pavilion. There was a large bonfire outside which everyone enjoyed. We also...

We had planned this trip for a long time and the inn was booked full but it was hard to tell. The ambiance is wonderful, Lisabeth is knowledgeable and interesting to talk to and it was a very restful night. The breakfast overlooking the fields was excellent and the burbling of the river made for a wonderful background noise.

I was being recruited by a local company, and in order to help me fall in love with the Mad River Valley, they put me (and my lady) up at the Lareau Farm Inn. They certainly made the right choice. On the day of my interview, we awoke to the smell of freshly baked bread. When we went into the...

“We stayed in Remembrance, which was quite small with a shared hall bathroom. It was adequate for a night's stay at the last minute, but for a few more dollars, we'd opt for the Respect room, which was right next door, much bigger and had it's own bathroom, if we were to stay again.”

“All rooms offer a lovely view...as the farm is tucked away with a "Panoramic View" of the glorious mountains outside every window. Every room has it's own theme, with ample space to relax and enjoy the solitude of a mountain getaway.”
