This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was dingy and drab. The comforters were stained. Bulbs in the bathroom were not working. Outlets were missing from the walls. Light fixtures were old and rusty. I couldn't wait to leave this place. Breakfast was a joke.

I arrived on Dec 28 at 4pm and the room was not clean. The bathroom and the Kitchen were filthy, no towels and dirty sheets and pillows with no pillow cases, very beaten old pillows. The carpet was murky. I was offered another room in the carriage room, where I had to stay

Staff provides no attempt to accommodate unusual circumstances. They charge the full room price two weeks in advance and are completely inflexible. As long as they get your money once, they are not concerned about making a repeat customer.

We stayed 4 nights, not 2. Check your records. We booked 7 nights, but had to leave early due to family tragedy. The manager didn't want to refund any nights and we ended up paying for 6 nights! They only serviced the room one day out of 4. The sink did not drain. The toilet seat moved all over the place. The trash never was removed from the room but the one day. We were.out of the room all day so there is no excuse. The noisy AC and closed restaurant was the least of our problems there.

The room that I stayed in was very clean and had plenty of room. It was located in the main building. The road construction seems to be done so you should not have any "getting there" issues. I think you will be very happy with The Stowe Inn. Enjoy your stay!
